If I may, I know you already have your platform but I'd like to suggest something.

I get that campaigning is about you however...

I suggest you get to know the people who are most likely to vote. Get to know them. Find their hot button issues, and if it aligns with your values, then hit those hard.

For example, you said your first priority is to support the second amendment against unconstitutional executive overreach. That's all well and good but is it your electorate's first priority? What if your electorate's top priority is getting more complete service which happens to be your second pillar? If you swap your second pillar as your first pillar, then it would be a clear match with the voters.

You're going to have to determine where in your voters' mind is the second amendment. You should align your values to what's more concrete first then "ethereal" values last like food and shelter first before education (just a similar pattern. If you determine that the second amendment is front and center in the voters' concerns ahead of your other pillars, then you know your voters and you should proceed as is. But if it's not, then you should reprioritize accordingly.

That’s got to be one of the best fringe benefits to being elected sheriff for the first time - getting to say that phrase.

Thanks to all the kind words and encouragement. I’m going over a few things with the web design company now and hope to be online in a week. Your website will have information for donation via mailed check, ¿si? I prefer that for donations, rather than credit card.
