lol...I'm sure you pay a pretty penny for that view Wink

I have completely avoided working every single Panthers game since I moved here. Hoping I can keep that streak! Not worth the money to ruin a day off, and I'd rather answer patrol calls in my district if I am already working and have a choice.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Plus the Charlotte PD officers were busy today starting bright an early this morning.

So, the last thing they needed was someone trying to prove a point.

That looks like a really nice place to run though. Where is that located in the city.

I need a nice place to run to help meditate from work.

Charlotte is full of Greenways. My favorite is the Clarks Creek Greenway off of Mallard Creek Rd. It’s a nice 8 mile loop. Great for biking too

You should come up if you are off on a Sunday and we can go look for Jeff’s Yarchin’s tailgate...I’m sure there will be bacon.

I bet that guy will say he open carries because he can get to the gun faster if he needs it... Smile

Yeah that 10/22 will come in handy if a rabid squirrel or chipmunk decides to attack!

Joke about that all you want but the only time I've ever actually needed a gun was to put a rabid raccoon out of its misery.

Two examples:
http://www.mlive.com/news/detr...ted_for_carryin.html
and:
https://www.clickondetroit.com...rborn-police-station

These two incidents were just grandstanding, pure and simple. Served no purpose but to stir up s***.

On open carry of handguns, I personally do not believe in it. It removes your tactical advantage. I have a saying that I use when that discussion comes up. Remember the old Kodak camera ad used around the holidays, the box with that tag saying "Open Me First"?
Kind of similar, "Shoot Me First".

I always say to remember that the perp is coming in and he already is prepped and has the tactical advantage over everybody else. His gun is drawn and ready to fire. You have to possibly take cover, unholster, point and shoot in the time that he pulls the bang switch. And if he sees your gun in the open, he is going to remove the threat and then probably acquire another gun for later use.
