Russia by contrast. The hell of it is Russia is damn bear out of fighting men and machinery. They just moved 6 huge Nork arty guns into Crimea. Those are some big guns. So, you don’t trust Zelenskyy enough to send your money, and you are cool with another half million lives being extinguished as long as it’s not yours? Zelenskyy has been given billions in our tax money and can’t account for most of it. But, you want Trump to keep feeding the pig “because Russia”? How much money did your party send to NC after Asheville was decimated? I can tell you exactly how much money was earmarked to line Zelenskyy’s pocket in that time frame. He’s already been given enough money to win it several times over. But the point of our aid wasn’t about win or lose. It was about grift. Not another penny.

I don’t care who wins or loses at this point, I don’t want our nation debt borrowing one more red cent for Ukraine. They’re a lost cause, and it wasn’t our cause to begin with. You guys who hate Putin so much can go fight Russians, the Ukrainian foreign legion is accepting any warm body that’ll volunteer at this point. ______________________________________________ Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Russian President Vladimir Putin Russian President Vladimir Putin recently (3/27/25) visited the Commander and Crew of the latest Russian nuclear submarine, the Arkhangelsk. The Arkhangelsk is a Project 885M Yasen-M ship, the latest fourth-generation multipurpose nuclear-powered submarine capable of carrying any sea-launched missiles and effectively hitting targets both at sea and on land. The submarine was completed and delivered to the Russian Navy on December 27, 2024. “Its crew has recently completed its basic training and is now ready to carry out its duties at sea.” President Putin’s full remarks are HERE. http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/76557 Here's a portion: In this regard, I would like to state – first and foremost – that, in my view, the newly elected President of the United States sincerely wishes to end this conflict for a number of reasons – I will not list them now, as they are numerous. But in my opinion, this aspiration is genuine. It is clear that the conflict I have just mentioned and briefly characterised in terms of recent developments, remains complex and requires thorough discussion and consideration. We stand for resolving all these issues by peaceful means, as I have just stated, reinforcing the measures we have taken from the very beginning – first, second, and third. Therefore, we advocate resolving these issues through peaceful means, but with the elimination of the root causes that have led to the current situation. We must undoubtedly ensure Russia’s security from the long-term historical perspective. Any step taken to achieve this objective will be welcomed by us, and we will work with any partners who strive towards this goal. We are prepared to work with Europe as well, despite their inconsistent behaviour and constant attempts to lead us up the garden path. Nevertheless, we have grown accustomed to this. I trust we will avoid making mistakes rooted in excessive trust towards our so-called partners. **** It's clear that Putin does not trust Zelensky or Europe. Factually, a civil war was ongoing in Ukraine for well over a decade. NATO exploited that civil war to create a U.S. proxy war against Russia. Zelenskyy is not negotiating for peace; he’s buying time against what Trump wants to do. He’s buying time for the EU/UK and corrupt NATO interests to organize a separate funding mechanism for continuation of war. The UK/France have promised to provide the intel service. The EU/UK now need to organize the funding mechanisms. They are doing it currently. A generally belligerent Volodymyr Zelensky, who will not accept any terms for negotiated peace (so far), continues playing the victim and saying Russia is violating terms needed for peace. NATO and the EU alliance continue telling Zelensky to keep fighting; Zelensky rejects anything that stops the fighting; NATO and the EU alliance continue demanding that President Trump support Zelensky. That’s the current cycle. Putin knows the game, that’s why he is keeping up the offensive action. At some point in this great game of ‘ceasefire’ pretense, President Trump is going to cut the gordian knot. https://theconservativetreehou...r-putin/#more-270643 "Some things are apparent. Spot on analysis, everything that needs to be said about Z, he has no intention of stopping the conflict, it keeps him in power and access to all the funds he wants. If he can hang on until the next election, and if we return to the D party he'll be flush with weapons and cash. Don't think for a minute that there isn't a bunch of people in the background that want this to happen, wars make people in power money.

I'm late to this one but your post is interesting to say the least para. I wonder if Secretary Bessent took notes and I also wonder how much he learned from the lecture. Side note: So far Bessent is in my top 5 cabinet picks. Actually I like them all but he stands out.

I hear Trump was considering it... but he just didn't have the appropriate sweatshirt and pair of sneakers for an official state visit. Zelensky Urges Trump To Visit Ukraine Before Pressing Negotiations, Says Vance 'Justifying' Putin's Actions Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is urging for President Donald Trump to visit Ukraine and see the war's devastation first-hand before pressing for peace negotiations with Russia. "We want you to come," the Ukrainian president pleaded in reference to Trump while speaking with CBS’ "60 Minutes" on Sunday. Zelensky hit out at what he strongly hinted was Trump's lack of understanding of the conflict and Russian brutality. "You think you understand what’s going on here. Okay, we respect your position. You understand. But, please, before any kind of decisions, any kind of forms of negotiations, come to see people, civilians, warriors, hospitals, churches, children destroyed or dead," he said. https://www.zerohedge.com/geop...ce-justifying-putins "Some things are apparent. That came from the Shitty minutes interview with zelensky. He is going to get justice. Just not the kind he thinks he is sure to get. The left wing media is in full swing. Good grief all the sunday morning shows were an absolute joke. These people are worse than ever falling all over themselves and drooling over any reality they can puke out against the Trumps administrations work to counter decades of harmful policies against our country. It is laughable and disgusting at the same time. "Practice like you want to play in the game"

I don’t think he could be this stupid…. But he’s a megalomaniac facing death so he might be… Odds that he’s trying to get Trump to visit Ukraine so he can do some kind of false flag attack and try to pin it on Russia? (Putin would not be stupid enough to attack Trump, but Z might be desperate enough to try.)

The stumbling block will be Zelenskyy because it's apparent that the little coked-out egomaniac doesn't want his grift to end, but the Russians appear to be playing ball. https://x.com/charliekirk11/st.../1911977298796138515

Ukraine's Parliament Votes To Prolong Martial Law Despite Trump Criticisms Ukraine's parliament on Wednesday voted to extend martial law and military mobilization for another three months, in a nearly unanimous 357-1 vote which though fully expected, presents yet another obstacle for peace with Russia. These wartime measures will continue until at least August 6, when another extension vote is likely. This means that there will be no efforts to organize a presential vote during that time, and that Zelensky's mandate continues. Also, there can be no elections to parliament while the ruling is in effect. President Trump previously derided Zelensky as a "dictator without elections" - in a drastic break from the Biden presidency. Ukraine's constitution stipulates that elections cannot be held during martial law, which has remained highly controversial, given also both the Trump administration and the Kremlin have called for some kind of timeline for political transition. Brand logo Lawmaker Yaroslav Zheleznyak said the extension of martial law passed by a 357-1 vote, while a measure to maintain troop mobilization was approved 356-1. —Al Jazeera The military mobilization aspect means what conscripts aged between 18 and 60 continue to be barred from leaving the country. Even though Ukrainian men can't be drafted until they are 25 (a rarity among global militaries as this is a high 'minimum' age), the country is seeking to preserve future fighting forces. For the domestic population, it remains the harsh conscription campaign that is most feared by families, as in some instances young men have been forcibly taken into military service while simply walking the streets or going to restaurants. This latest parliament vote to extend these policies has been met with some visible pushback by a well-known former leader: Former president Petro Poroshenko accused the government of rushing the extension through parliament, with almost one month left before the current martial law expires. Martial law is "being used not only for the defense of the country, but also for the establishment of an authoritarian regime," the opposition leader, who has been sanctioned by Zelensky, claimed on social media. Martial law has been in effect since the very beginning of the Russian invasion of February 2022, and it's increasingly being politically challenged both at home and abroad. But during that time, Zelensky has effectively barred and rooted out nearly all opposition figures and parties in parliament, especially the ones seen as sympathetic to Russian-speakers. https://www.zerohedge.com/geop...ite-trump-criticisms "Some things are apparent. Well, then, it's time for this European coalition (which doesn't actually exist) to step up and defeat the evil Russkies. And that's what this is about- their own skin. Russian forces have been in Ukrainian territory for years and the rest of Europe has done little to help, but now that the United States is refusing further aid, European leaders are panicking. They have this fantasy that Putin is going to invade Europe, and it really is a fantasy, because the Russians have been fought to a stalemate on their own border. Just how do these leaders think that Russian forces can advance across the continent? Oh, he'll use nuclear weapons. Sure, that's what's going to happen. ![]() Enough of this shit.

Oh, so they’re voting to keep not only him in power but also themselves. Got it. There’s a shocker. I keep seeing people say “this is in their constitution” as if clauses to enable tyranny can’t exist in such a document. From the same people, I keep seeing that we need to defend Ukraine because they’re a democracy, but the people aren’t voting for this. It’s 359 people who have a strangle hold on the country. ______________________________________________ Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.
