JAllen,
THANKS! Seriously, a huge THANKS. I've enjoyed your posts, your insight and your knowledge. Yeah, sometimes you left me scratching my head, sometimes I thought you, or I (or both) were out of our minds.

Not that I "follow" anyone here, but I always look for your posts. I truly enjoy them. I can only imagine what you're like in "real life."
I'm not just talking about Sig Forum, but there's going to be a pretty big empty space where a large shadow was once cast.

May you Rest in Peace, and sincere condolences to your family.

I'm really bad at this, but for JALLEN I will try my best.

He enjoyed telling anachronistic Aggie jokes, so on a couple of occasions at least, I requested that he tell me an Aggie joke, just for his amusement.

When I saw his Hospice thread, I was meaning to send him an email to explain something that I posted, but it was hard for me to accept that the thread was for real.

Without him, there is nothing else to say except that I'll greatly miss his contributions to the forum.

This is really sad to hear. Honestly, for some strange reason, Jim had been on my mind off and on for the past year or so. I met him in person when he was living in California 11 years ago at a training event, and he was one of those people you just knew had the spirit of God inside them. Despite being of a different generation than I, we connected over our commonalities and had some great conversation. I never told him, but that short series of conversations had a big impact on me. RIP JALLEN... you will be missed.

I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I only knew him from the forum, but he offered a lot to all of us.

Spinzone, maybe you can send Martine a link to this thread, and let her know he touched many more lives then she was aware of.

RIP, JALLEN...

We all knew this was going to happen but it has not lessened the pain of missing a truly remarkable man.

Go in peace my friend.
