Gonna have to take that argument.

The man that was sitting in the Oval Office was a fruad and an embarrasment to all things good about this country.

He truly "was not our President" because he never took the resonsibility and duty with integruty or with honor.

He was a dishonor and an insult to all who love this country.

Call me two faced, call me hypocrite, call me wrong as the day is long, anything you or anyopne feels is right.

Yeah, this time it's differnt.

Even my disdain for Bill Clinton, I would have gone and I would have said the same about Brady if Bill Clinton were the sitting POTUS.

I don't think I like that Obama guy.

The media that is applauding the Patriots who didn't go had quite a different take when Tim Thomas decided not to go when Obama was in office.

All of those articles said that it didn't matter who the president was, anyone who didn't go did not put his team first and was derelict in his duty. They are singing a different tune today.

Edit to clarify my point: I think most people here have a problem with they guy, not for ditching the president, but for ditching President Trump. Had it been zippy, most of us would rejoice over the snub. So, all the high-sounding notions of him 'representing the team and how he had a duty to attend the presidential invitation' are moot, IMO.

Speaking only for myself, when the team is being honored it's not about you. Regardless of politics, you go to support your team and it's accomplishments. It was bad form last year to stay home and it's bad form now. This coming from someone who wouldn't pissed on Obama were he to catch fire.

President Trump has been busy, but I am glad he got around to this:

Surgeon General Vivek H. Murthy, an Obama administration holdover, was asked to resign by the Trump administration

He was replaced by his deputy, Rear Adm. Sylvia Trent-Adams, one of the first nurses to serve as surgeon general.

Dr. Murthy has for years made headlines for calling gun violence a public health threat. In 2014, the National Rifle Association urged the Senate not to confirm him.

Murthy was a DEM political hack. In particular he is an Obama political hack.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

That's pretty awesome. I would've loved to have had a President Trump at my Academy's commencement.

President Trump to Give Keynote Address at Coast Guard Academy Graduation
April 21, 2017 by gCaptain

Coast Guard Commencement 2016. DoD Photo
President Donald Trump will give the commencement address at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy’s graduation ceremony next month in new London, Connecticut.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer announced Trump’s participation in the May 17 ceremony during a daily briefing on Wednesday.

Back in March President Trump was initially planning to propose cutting the Coast Guard’s 2018 annual budget by $1.3 billion, or about 12%, despite an overall boost in military spending. After an outcry from lawmakers, ultimately the cuts did not make it into the Administration’s 2018 “budget blueprint” that it submitted to Congress a week later. Details from the DoD said only that the plan “sustains current funding levels for the U.S. Coast Guard”. A comprehensive budget request for FY 2018 will be delivered in Congress in May.

Local newspaper The Day said it was rumored that Trump would be keynote speaker as he is expected to be out of the country when the other service academies graduate, and each year the President typically addresses the graduating class at one of the federal service academies on a rotating basis.

Our new awesome DoJ just sent letters to:

Sacramento, CA
Chicago,
New Orleans,
Philadelphia,
Las Vegas,
Miami,
Milwaukee,
New York City

Letters are here:

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr...file/959431/download

sample:

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr...ompliance-8-usc-1373

Today, the Department of Justice sent the attached letters to nine jurisdictions which were identified in a May 2016 report by the Department of Justice’s Inspector General as having laws that potentially violate 8 U.S.C. § 1373.

Additionally, many of these jurisdictions are also crumbling under the weight of illegal immigration and violent crime. The number of murders in Chicago has skyrocketed, rising more than 50 percent from the 2015 levels. New York City continues to see gang murder after gang murder, the predictable consequence of the city's “soft on crime” stance. And just several weeks ago in California’s Bay Area, after a raid captured 11 MS-13 members on charges including murder, extortion and drug trafficking, city officials seemed more concerned with reassuring illegal immigrants that the raid was unrelated to immigration than with warning other MS-13 members that they were next.

The letters remind the recipient jurisdictions that, as a condition for receiving certain financial year 2016 funding from the Department of Justice, each of these jurisdictions agreed to provide documentation and an opinion from legal counsel validating that they are in compliance with Section 1373. The Department of Justice expects each of these jurisdictions to comply with this grant condition and to submit all documentation to the Office of Justice Programs by June 30, 2017, the deadline imposed by the grant agreement.

A well swung 2x4 seems to be the only way to get libtard attention regarding the consequences of ignoring the law. For far too long they have been emboldened to ignore the Constitution and enacted laws. DOOM on them!
