Just before the inauguration, Obama's EPA locked in regulations requiring new cars in 2025 to average 51.4 mpg.

The EPA rushed the decision. It wasn't needed until April 2018.

Daniel Becker, director of the Safe Climate Campaign, an environmental group, said it could take years for the Trump administration to change the standards

http://www.foxnews.com/auto/20...ge-requirements.html

but years fly by under Donald Trump,

The announcement — which is expected as soon as Tuesday and will be made jointly by the Environmental Protection Agency administrator, Scott Pruitt, and the transportation secretary, Elaine L. Chao — will immediately start to undo one of former President Barack Obama’s most significant environmental legacies.

After withdrawing the Obama administration’s requirement for model years 2022 through 2025, the Trump administration will have a year to put forth an alternative set of efficiency standards

Trump Proposes Cutting State Department Budget by 37%

Plan would cut aid given by U.S. Agency for International Development

Office of Management and Budget (OMB) director Mick Mulvaney:

"The overriding message is fairly straightforward, which is, less money spent on folks overseas -- more money spent on folks back home,"

"We are going to propose to reduce foreign aid and we are going to propose to spend that money here," he added, explaining that the reductions will be "fairly dramatic."

Here is part of what Loretta Lynch said in the video posted above:

“It has been people, individuals who have banded together, ordinary people who simply saw what needed to be done and came together and supported those ideals who have made the difference. They’ve marched, they’ve bled and yes, some of them died. This is hard. Every good thing is. We have done this before. We can do this again.”

Astonishingly, the former AG is praising violent demonstrations that result in blood and death. That is a clear implication-- nothing sensationalized. "They've marched, they've bled, and yes, some of them died.... We have done this before. We can do this again."

No ambiguity there. She is calling for violence, and the clear implication is: violence against Trump and his supporters.

The reptiles of The Swamp are in full panic. It was not supposed to happen-- it could not possibly happen-- that Donald Trump would become POTUS! They cannot bear the loss of power. And corrupt money. And some of them-- maybe including Loretta of the shady meeting with Bill Clinton-- realize that they could end up in the slammer for criminal deeds they never thought would come to light.

Fox just reported the White House has ordered a official congressional investigation into whether or not the Obama administration abused it's executive powers in 2016 in regards to illegal surveillance of the Trump campaign.
The statement also said the administration will have no further comment until this investigation is done.

Sounds like this may go dark for awhile but it should give the dems something to occupy their time with.

Well its off to a poor start.

The probe should address whether the Obama Administration conducted ANY surveillance, not "illegal" surveillance.

Apparently there was a warrant issued by the FISA Court, so unless the supporting affidavit(s) are false, it isn't "illegal" surveillance.

Now absence of illegality in the surveillance does not equate to such surveillance being a sound exercise of fed.gov authority. If there was FISA-authorized surveillance, the American people need know what was learned and what became of the "take" (e.g., shared with the Clinton campaign perhaps?).

Also the Executive Branch cannot "order" a Congressional investigation. It can request one, or do its own, or both, but Congress doesn't answer to the President.

There are "official orders" and so-called unofficial orders".

You know, the "suggestion" that we need to know what is going on there. That kind of thing.

Until evidence comes out that obummer & co had no knowledge of these shenanigans, I will continue to believe that he knew about it, and at least blessed the operation.

The problem for putz Barry is that he never imagined Trump would win the election when he carried out these Nixonian tactics. Well oops. And President Trump is obviously extremely teed off. Sorry, Democrats, but you overplayed your hand as the President said.
