I've always found it kind of interesting that some folks don't want to post their location here or in other forums... I readily admit it is their choice but for me I chose to not try and hide this or my name.... you can find me and where I live in less that five minutes. But then the reality is if someone chose to steal my identity they would discover it was not worth their time....

Doesn’t matter to me.
I wrote my name on the bottom of tickets for years. My email is my rank and name I had to create during the oil spill so I could communicate as I didn’t have a laptop or standard military terminal.

I know who I am

I'll try to remember not to call you by your name, Larry. Wink

My name is part of my screen name so I have no problem with it.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

This. I don't see how calling someone by their first name gives away anything about a persons identity.

I still don't get much of it.... not sure what some of you folks are hiding from or think you are hiding from. Like I said before when I first got on gun forums on the internet, I noticed all this 'anonymous / mysterious screen name and location stuff' and thought it was kind of strange .... I figured out pretty quick you really and truly can't hide and most definitely from anyone or any organization that really wants to find you.

but many of the screen names and locations here are entertaining at least.
