I have a feeling this visits bill is going to make my emergency appendectomy look like chump change.
I'll be speaking to the man this evening Black92. Can you say what might be the problem with your pancreas ? I dont even know what that is. And I hope your little one gets better also. Keep us up to date please.

Prayers for you, your son and all of your family. I had my gallbladder removed about 12 years ago. Initially had the problem others have mentioned after eating fatty foods. It got better, but about 3 years ago similar symptoms began. After many tests without anything conclusive and many different drugs (that didn’t work) the doctor (almost out of desperation) said to eliminate gluten from my diet. Two weeks on a gluten free diet the problems went away. Not saying that’s your problem, but something to consider.

Gallstones are a very common cause of pancreatitis.

I am back home and feeling quite a bit better.
CT scan
MRI
Ultrasound
All came back showing nothing abnormal.
All the main bloodwork was good. Stool tests all were good. Still waiting on some parasite results to return.
The endoscopy showed inflammation of my duodenum and they are still waiting on the biopsies. Though the GI Dr. did not feel the inflammation was bad enough to indicate Crohns or ulserative colitis.
As long as the biopsies come back negative he thinks things will settle out with a pretty decent diet change.
I’ll be the first to admit I eat complete and utter crap. So knocking out soda and fried as much as possible.

So we’ll see.

Thanks for all the prayers.
Now hopefully we’ll get good news for the boy Thursday.

Glad you are home. The single biggest diet improvement I ever made was dropping soda. I only have about 1 a month now and I feel better and it is easier to keep the weight off. I don't think diet sodas are much better than the regular ones either. I made a few other changes, eating more vegetables, but the soda thing was huge.

I have a few SIGs.

A steady diet of fried food, while not optimal, IMHO isn't as bad as the sugar. And soda pop has a lot of sugar: 28-45 grams/can, for many. That's approximately 7-11 teaspoons of sugar per can.
