best wishes for a speedy recovery

Suggestion - If you're up to it, order pizza or some other treats to be delivered to the nurses on your floor. Not sure what can be delivered to a hospital these days but guessing one of the nurses could meet the delivery person in the lobby. Or perhaps someone you know could deliver to the lobby. Nurses love attention and repay thing like this many times over. (My mom was a nurse)

Hopefully they will have you out of there shortly so you can be back chasing tornadoes. You are going in at a good time as the census is not likely to be overwhelming and you will get the best of care. Post tomorrow on your condition when you get a chance.

I am so happy I am home!

I was hospitalized for 11 days. They told me once I turned the corner things would happen quicker.

It' been quite a ride and I'm sleepy now. I'm not back all the way yet, but I'm up and under my own power, one foot in front of the other. Still need some more lung recovery. I'm gettin' there!!

I appreciate everyone's good thoughts and prayers and Para for making this the greatest place on the planet.

Good night to all, talk to you guys, and ladies, in a few days.

Gene

Gene, Welcome home! Get back to 100% soon!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
