Many Sigforumites directly or indirectly (e.g. pension) own S&P 500 mutual funds/ETFs. Halliburton is on the S&P 500 and while he was CEO he moved them from 73rd to 18th on the list. Therefore, a lot of Sigforumites' nest eggs increased due to his tenure at Halliburton.
