Oh, you meant the former VP and not his traitorous offspring.

Well, for a moment the day was brighter.

They are/were both evil traitors

It's really disappointing that he lived to the ripe old age of 84. I could not have a lower opinion of a man than I do for Big Dick. My opinion of his daughter is roughly the same.

He certainly was reviled by the left and few on the right will miss him. Good riddance.

I remember the nurses carrying pickets signs that read "If it were not for us you would be dead."

No matter how much he hated Trump, he can never be forgiven for endorsing and voting for Kamala.

DC notably commented to Dim Pat "Leaky" Leahy "Go fuck yourself". "What Cheney said" became a way to beat website mods and cast aspersions so there's that, thanks Dick. Smile

That asshole lied to the American people and plunged us into a needless 20-year war for his own personal enrichment. What really bothers me is that I was young and dumb enough to believe him. I distinctly remember being in the basement of my college dorm watching the ground invasion of Iraq kick off, and being excited about it. It's one of the few times in my life when I wish I'd listened to the liberals. Frown

Many people forget that he was instrumental in getting us into the FIRST Iraq war as well.

He was a bad seed, and, unfortunately, he took to root.

Same.
I used to think he and GWB were patriots. Now, I wonder what Cheney knew ahead of the impending terror attacks of 9/11/2001.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Many Sigforumites directly or indirectly (e.g. pension) own S&P 500 mutual funds/ETFs. Halliburton is on the S&P 500 and while he was CEO he moved them from 73rd to 18th on the list. Therefore, a lot of Sigforumites' nest eggs increased due to his tenure at Halliburton.

Don't get me wrong - I think he was a flaming douchenozzle, horrible for America, corrupt to the core, and raised awful children.
