He did it purely out of loyalty to the Bushes.
The cancer spread to his offspring from Wyoming as well.

That's pretty much where I am. As for the "draft dodging", he had heart problems most of his life - I'm surprised he lasted this long - and "reportedly" said whatever is rumor from a biased source unless substantiated.
