So many fond memories of In n Out burger on weekend nights after street races and other high school high jinx. I still enjoy eating there. Good burgers at a reasonable price. Now one more reason to stop by. I see this boycott bomeranging if that's a word.

If Chic Fil A is a cult, count me in. I have the same beliefs but don't hate anyone for what they want to be, just as they don't. The tolerant left as we know is not so tolerant. It is amazing the hate they spew.

Most of the losers can barely afford to dine at a fast food location.

Dick's Sporting Goods is in a free fall. Yet they blame one manufacturer and not their own decisions.

quote:
Shares of Dick's Sporting Goods plunged by more than 9 percent Wednesday morning after the retailer said it sold less merchandise during the second quarter than analysts were expecting.

Sales at Dick's Sporting Goods stores open for at least 12 months also tumbled by a bigger-than-expected 4 percent during the quarter. It was partly blamed on athleisure brand Under Armour, which has been moving into more low-price retailers like Kohl's, frustrating companies like Dick's that try to sell inventory at higher price points.

I wish I was close enough to buy some burgers. I may buy some via long distance and ask them to donate the burgers to a homeless shelter.

It will have no impact on their business..... I have never been in a In and Out that didn’t have people waiting regardless of the location or time of day. I am sure they will survive also still family owned.

I love Whataburger, in fact had some cheeseburgers to go two nights ago. But when push comes to shove, I'll take a Double Double with a side of Animal Fries instead. I'm just blessed to have both near me Smile

I try my hardest not to patronize any organization or business that want's to fly their LEE-BORE-AL colors/motive/etc...

Why in F's sake, should I give money to any organization that want's to support idiots that want to destroy my way of life?

Is it hard sometimes, yep sure is, but you know what... it is fun Wink

LMFAO!!! Big Grin
Dick's Sporting Goods and high-price points....LOL! The most expensive item they sell there are treadmills, golf clubs and Yeti coolers. Over-1/2 of all the footwear they sell is made specifically for them, because they CANNOT handle the higher price-points of in-line product. Keep in mind, Dick's put The Sports Authority out of business because they did marketing and visuals better than TSA.

As for the In-N-Out donating to the GOP, how is any of this a surprise or, news? (I know, media needs to keep feeding the outage and shame machine). When a company puts bible verses in conspicuous places on their packaging, chances are they lean conservative. Good possibility they're also not supporting a political party that gives tacit, nodding approval, to it's public figures who take gleeful cheap-shots at organized religion, is attractive to 'angry atheists' and coddles 'extremists from other religions' .

I remember driving through and getting some In-and- Outs in So Cal about 4 years ago. At the time, I noticed that the employees and atmosphere were a lot like Chick Fit-A, courteous, clean and definitely two steps above most fast food places. One of my sons then noticed the scripture on the bottom of their drink cup. Bingo.

From the OP article:

According to campaign finance filings, In-N-Out Burger also donated $30,000 last year and $50,000 this year to Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy, a political action committee that supports business-friendly Democratic candidates.

Hey John, you want honey with them locusts? Big Grin

Not that I care too much for In-n-Out, I may need to get me some for lunch tomorrow. As luck would have it, there is one and a Chik-Fil-A a couple miles from the house (AND they're next to each other!).

Is it really news that In n Out leans right? I knew that after my first meal there over 20 years ago. But hey journos, keep recycling stories and trying to fan the flames so you can stay employed.
