I suspect he'll be dead within a week. These notices tend to be put out in the last moments, like Charles Krauthammer and just recently, Aretha Franklin.

The saddest part of this? My loss of respect for what I wanted to believe, a war hero. The word "traitor" now seems more appropriate. Judas served a purpose. John McCain, none.

I've got nothing but contempt for this clown. Nothing in his past will mitigate the disservice he has done to this country. To hell with you John McCain.

Question of the day: Will Trump order that flags be flown at half mast?

I will not lower my flag.

I think adding a couple foot extension to the top of every flag pole would be fitting

The only Flags that are flown at the control of the President are those of US government offices. Flags of the various states fly under the control of the state's Governor, local Flags under the Mayor, etc. An individual is under no coercion to fly the Flag any particular way (but I do recommend following the guidelines of the Flag Code).

My Flag is not able to be flown at half-mast; I do have a black streamer I can attach, but it doesn't show up very well and I usually don't bother.

I voted for John McCain the first time he ran for U.S. senator. I was proud to do so. That seems so long ago now.

Not daughter, his wife.

My dad died of multiforma glioblastoma. He served 2.5 tours in Vietnam. I signed his DNR order when I was in the Army

I have often said i wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy and, although McCain is the first in a long time to sorely tempt that, I still won't

He has been a pox on American politics

That's the big question with all kinds of rumors. It is past the time frame in AZ state law for a special election to take place so the governor is supposed to appoint someone from the same political party.

The long standing rumor was that Gov. Ducey would appoint his wife, Cindy McCain to the senate. That has not gone over well at all. We've had stories of various politicians trying to gain favor with the governor. Paul Gosar who is currently a US Representative and Kelli Ward who lost in the last primary that McCain won have made the most headlines.

To top it off, our other RINO senator Jeff Flake is stepping down after 1 term in the senate so that seat is in play for this year's midterms. It's a very contested race with several republicans running in the primary. The democrats have a strong candidate in Kyrsten Sinema and sadly, it would not be that much of an upset if she won. So don't know if the governor will appoint a current candidate out of this year's senate race or not.

Arizona politics has always been a train wreck. I'm convinced some indian shaman put a curse on this state of, "Screw you whitey!" and it's still in effect. The first territorial governor died on the train ride out here. We've had the Keating 5, AZ Scam, Governor Ev Mecham being ridiculed and impeached, the circus of the 42 candidates running for his seat afterwards (I can honestly say I was in college then and voted for Alice Cooper), Joe Arpaio, Jan Brewer wagging her finger in Obama's face (quite possibly the high point of AZ politics), and the embarrassment of Crappy Nappy.

My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.
