Parents are having some health issues, so I'm flying out to spend some time with them and try to help them out a little bit.

Australia. For work. I'm going to see just how many shrimp can fit on the barbie with my company $75 meal voucher. Big Grin

Sorry, if there's a joke in there, it just blew right past me. Confused

Thanksgiving is my holiday, so I do the cooking and invite everyone here.

I get up early, prep, cook, we all eat, and my wife cleans the turkey when all is done. We all help clean up, and then it's football and stories with the family.

Parents are coming to me this year. We’ll be relaxing with an oyster roast or three while they’re in town.

I'm guessing he's referencing the 'Dumb and Dumber' scene where Jim Carey talks about throwing another shrimp on the barbie when hearing a woman claim she's from Austria.

Well, the poll doesn't have a choice for me. We'll be going 275 miles away. For me that means I'll be going first to drop off the boat; a 550 mile round trip. Then the next day, I'll be taking the family with the 5th wheel. We'll come back a week later and the next day, I'll go back and get the boat.

We're camping with friends in the Keys.

Short bike ride, really long walk, or long enough for the engine to warm up. Probably doing last one.

I will be firing up my smoker to do 4-5 racks of baby back ribs with hickory. Of course the obligatory Bloody Mary(or 2) while tending the smoker.

I'll be driving about 600 miles one way with the wife and the pups to visit our families. I'm taking the whole week off so it's not too bad

0.0 Miles

I hate traveling for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving because it's so short and everyone else wants to travel on the same days.

So we never leave town.

This will be the first time in 34 years that no one is coming over for Thanksgiving. We have no plans at all.
