I went out with one in College.
She was a farm girl from Southern MN.
Its been over 30 years butI still think of her now and then even though I've been happily married for 29 years.

This thread is useless without pics. Storm's post on pg 3 doesn't count (choke yourself as pennance). Big Grin

A classmate of mine, on crutches due to a broker ankle, was literally knocked off his feet by Cheryl Tiegs on a NYC street. She stopped, apologized and helped him up. He said she had "It" as you described and that he was stunned speechless.

It was my good fortune to meet a girl "with that thing" 58 1/2 years ago. Married life has been wonderful.

That's awesome! If you don't mind me asking, what's your age.

I turn 52 on Monday and have had 25 amazing years with my wife.

An ex-fiance of mine was like that. She looked very much like Claudia Schiffer. However all the attention she received from guys went to her head. Despite being truly a very nice person, she was very spoiled by all the attention. So we split up, I am so fortunate.

I think this singer is one, not many persons can do what she did. It has to come from someplace deep inside.

Wow! She must be an angel. Smile

You could almost see the jealously in some of the other contestants faces in the semi-circle around her.

Oh, you can definitely see the envy in the contestants faces. Here is this kid, she is only 15 y.o. in the video, with more talent and deep down beauty than any of the others. She was not in this beauty contest, just came in as an added attraction.

Most singers simply cannot perform like Patricia did, whatever she has, I like it...

Same here, except he's a drunk. It boggles the mind how a woman who could have ANY man would choose a loser.

There might be something more to this. I can only think of one woman close to this description and I never saw what she sees in her husband. He's not a drunk or abusive or anything, but it seems her relationship with him is like none other (and not in a good way). And she's kind of that way back to him in some ways. Maybe that's what it is, since everyone else seems to adore her, maybe the one person who almost seems like he doesn't is what she's drawn to. Confused I hate to say she wants to be treated badly, but it's almost what it seems like. Her personality domnates everyone else (in a good way), him being the only exception. Maybe that's the attraction.

Meh... Canadians. Meh...

As a Minnesotan, I've spent my entire life defending Iowa from Canada. I've won my battles for all that is truly right. Lost a few too.

Nothing good can come from Canada. This scourge of them sending us pics of their wimmins' is nothing but propaganda. I doubt she is even really Canadian. Probably a Photoshop. She is cute, though.

Yeah. And like most women there's some guy REALLY happy he is RID of her. No matter WHO she is.

I've thought about this quite a bit, and while I pay close attention to things like this, I can't remember any woman so outstandingly charismatic.

I have been on alert for it since this thread and saw something possibly close the other day. I'm sitting on a bench during a pause from cycling when a tall slender very attractive mother walks by. Everything about her looked perfect. Her clothes, makeup and the very cute young children she was holding hands with on each side. They were at least as pretty as her.

As she was walking past, one of her kids asked her a question and in between her answering I locked eyes with her. Don't know why but it made both of us pause. I may have barely noticed her without this momentary gaze. Then she gave the answer which was as perfect seeming as the rest of her. Wanting to do everything to substantiate the question with a careful response. Her voice soft, nurturing and loving. Those are some lucky kids!

You don't have to worry about defending the Iowans in this instance.
That is my daughter in that photo (Canadian Firearms journal) and she is Minnesota born and bred.
She's also done a few American gun magazines and a number of gun related ads. She wasn't really interested in modelling and has only done gun related stuff.

I guess I'm prejudiced but you're wrong in this case.

She was a straight A student in high school and participated in Choir, Track, Cross Country, Pole Vault, Academic Decathlon (went to State), Mock Trial, Drama, among others.
At her high school graduating party, we set her medals out and they weighed about 30 lbs in total.
We let her do any activity she wanted as long as her grades didn't slip.
We taught her to be nice to everyone and stand up for the weak. During her senior year she was elected Prom Queen by her peers, much to that chagrin of some who considered themselves to be popular

She paid for College by taking out loans and working three jobs, including working in an iron foundry. After College she did two years in the Minnesota Conservation Corps, working for basically nothing to help pay off those loans. She was also part of the Hurricane Sandy cleanup when working with AmeriCorps.

She has always been very independent. She has worked since she was sixteen (she wanted to). While in College, she also paid for her own apartment and upkeep. We contributed nothing except having her on our vehicle insurance and cellular plan. I told here it wouldn't cost her anything to stay at home.

She was my Range buddy (every Sunday), my hiking partner and my Taekwondo expert. She has more backwoods skills that most of my friends. She usually has to stop and wait for me when we go hiking, especially if there are a lot of hills involved.

She is also my go to Chainsaw expert and has taken down many huge trees while working with the conservation corps. My friends give me crap about having to call my daughter when I need a tree taken down. When I mentioned the bare handed hold on the saw chain, she just shrugs and said "callouses". She also trained to fight brush/forest fires while in the corps.

She carries a Sig and shoots it very well. She can handle a .44 mag revolver with no issues but her favorite handgun is a Coonan in .357 Mag (she did some advertising for them).
She prefers a pump action shotgun to a semi. She doesn't think .458 SOCOM has that much kick. She's 5 ft 2" tall and weighs about 125 lbs soaking wet! She's tougher than many men that I know.

She now works for a Medical Services company and probably makes more than me. I don't see her as often as I'd like to but if I was every in a tight spot in the back country, I'd want her with me before anyone else that I know.
