Character, above all else |
Known a few and dated two. Both were card-carrying members of Mensa International. The memories are unforgettable but not always good. Both taught me the brain is the biggest and most important sex organ. As glad as I am for the experiences, I am equally glad I never married them. By your definition, I'll say not really. The problem is that my tastes seem to be radically different from mainstream crowds. So, women that would affect a whole room wouldn't even phase me, but some that have had that effect on me most other people might consider average or weird.

The phenomenon you are describing I believe is called Charisma. Not necessarily purely physical the person just has "it".

Once She was a coworkers wife several years back. It is difficult to describe. Stunningly beautiful in a simple way. Larger than life personality, charisma, humble, just wowza. She exuded sensuality like no other without even trying. Made everyone come alive. Definitely the kind of woman that is the true definition of WOMAN. Her husband knew he had his hands full, but was up to the challenge and a great guy himself.

Left-Handed, NOT Left-Winged! |
Yeah, I had a girlfriend like that. But the downside is that ability is often due to strong narcissistic tendencies or a full on personality disorder. Narcissists have an instinctive ability to charm and make everyone like them, because that feeds their sense of self importance. But the real person underneath is nothing like the public image.

I met a girl with "that thing" a few years ago. I was able to cure it with antibiotics. "Crom is strong! If I die, I have to go before him, and he will ask me, 'What is the riddle of steel?' If I don't know it, he will cast me out of Valhalla and laugh at me."

Casuistic Thinker and Daoist |
There is a lot of truth to the above statement I dated a girl with "that thing" on and off for a number of years. She had the ability to go into a business and have folks give her stuff...a quart of ice cream for BR-31 or a meal from BK. We'd be out at a coffee shop or dinner and people, male and female, would make approaches to her/us. She could support herself by working on the street or in an office. The downside was that she tended toward abusive relationships...really dangerous ones. When she was with me, I got her off hard drugs (meth)and she limited her smoking. She was an grat companion to explore the "dark side" of human nature. She was a follower of Wicca, as was her mother, and had some interesting insights. Alas, it just wasn't meant to last...she couldn't break the habit of using people to get things she wanted No, Daoism isn't a religion

When I saw the thread title, I thought you were talking about a girl like this. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Storm, Loyalty Above All Else, Except Honor ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

The two I met that fit that description all turned out to be extremely high maintenance in their later years I believe prompted by the adulation heaped on them as being "super special." Only one I dated and yes, it was an experience albeit short lived. Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club! NOT what I had in mind. It reminds me of the quote: Westley: "WRONG. Your ears you keep and I'll tell you why. So that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, "Dear God! What is that thing," will echo in your perfect ears. That is what "to the pain means." It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever. " -Westley, The Princess Bride, to Lord Humperdinck Let me repeat, "Dear God! What is that thing". Not cool posting that in my thread. Not cool at all, man. H&K-Guy

Yeah, but they are far to busy for me. I refuse to deal with that kind of high maintenance program.
