OH and how.

After some 35 years it's still hard to describe what I felt for her.

But she entered and left my life with a specific purpose.

Believe me, the left part was fucking terrible for me.

And quite possibly the best thing that could have happened to me.

Yet I am the man I am today, both my good and bad, because of her.

I met my wife, in part, because of her.

Because I met my wife, I have daughter-chan.

Who would ask for a better outcome?

I'll put it this way, there are five women who I'd happily die for. She's one of them.

And there is one, who if she stood before me intent on taking my life, I would not resist.

No, it's another woman. I owe her an even greater debt.

Big Grin Big Grin I married one like that and her name is, indeed, Linda! She's my second wife and we have been happily married for 25 years. I always thought she was WWWWAAAAYYYY out of my league. However, she always thought that I was above her capacity also. I can't tell you how great this union has been. No pressure whatsoever from her to do anything! Sometimes, you just have to take a chance!

Farrah Fawcett was like that, but almost entirely on drop dead looks. When she was in view you couldn't look at anything else. When she aimed her 25 bazillion megawatt smile at you, it was springtime. Lordy!

I don't know if she was practicing her air head blonde act or was really that way, or maybe some weird defense mechanism, but that's how she often came across. I chatted with her on a number of occasions, and it was a bit of a struggle.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

So far, in my life, I have never met a girl with that thing, and I hope I never have the misfortune to meet a girl with that thing.

Yeps, a hellion named Peggy , who sang like a diva, not model type beautiful, but the type of looks that still gave you shivers, always outdrank me, and drove a Corvette.

Dressed provocatively, but stylish, and always seem to draw stares, conversation, I told her that she always got the looks many times. Sometimes we wouldn't see each other for 4 months , she would call, then we hooked up for a short while, off and on.

Nothing serious, but lots of fun over 2-3 years, she was a blonde Southern firecracker.

Yes I have. I call it the IT factor. You can't put your finger on it but there is something to it. I believe it's mostly how they carry themselves.

She's an unbelievable Wife and Mom which would have been enough for me. What she lacked in college education the IT factor has more than made up for it. She started as a typical hourly employee and now runs a large company as the Chief Operating Officer.

I think a big part of it is having a heart of gold but also not taking shit from anyone, and coming across as exaxctly that.

Yep, I call it The Total Package. Does it survive long term scrutiny, is the question.

For me, that was Clare in Miami in the late '60's. Part Irish, dressed well, great looks, family money and a good paying job.

The one I would have married.....if I wasn't already married.

I have a friend who is like that, an Italian woman. She always has to dress down because guys are constantly chasing after her. She has exceedingly good values, internally, which is what I think makes her so attractive. Some day I may post a photo of her, if she will let me...
