You are going to want a burr grinder. Do not buy a blade grinder as they not only give inconsistent size results, but heat the bean grounds excessively. There are a lot of options out there for decent burr grinders and prices are a bit higher than cheap blade types. Some are better than others, so check reviews before laying money down.

This thread has inspired me. The past 2 days I have done black with no cream or sweetener. I only did that in the past when neither of them were available. I think I like it and will drink it black from now on!

I can’t drink it any other way than black. There’s something about adding cream and/or sugar that just doesn’t sit well with me.

Thank you Gearhounds ... I found a Krups burr grinder for $30 at a local store and I bought it. Now I’m waiting for my coffee beans! Is it silly that I’m excited to try this??
