Extremely reasonable prices. My favorite was a spicy sausage roll with cheese and sriracha.

Dude! That looks awesome.

The family "allowed" me to purchase an excellent condition 2005 Yamaha FZ6 with 9500 miles for $2800! I know it was babied, because the rear tire while worn down the center a bit, had next to nothing worn outside the chicken strip (not that I plan to wear out the sides either!)!

Father's Day is bitter sweet for me, my youngest son died in 2009. My other son came home for the weekend, gave me a card (I told him a long time ago that I had everything that I needed so that he would not have to agonize over what to get me). I grilled ribeye steaks. Enjoyed it a bunch.

Went shooting with GF, Son#1 and DIL.
Then came home and cleaned guns with son while the GF and DIL made prime rib for supper. YUM!
Son#2 and Son#3 both called to say "HFD".
Good day.

M&P 2.0, VP9, and an autographed, leather bound copy of Brad Thor's latest novel (which will ship next week).

But I kinda got a bonus in a paycheck, so some of that was self-gifting.....

This was my first Father's Day. The best gift I got was waking up just before my wife and nine month old son. I watched him open his eyes, they met mine, and he got the biggest grin. He then crawled over his sleeping mother's face to get to daddy Smile I could get used to this.

I gave my husband the gift of bringing me home from the hospital in the afternoon Roll Eyes

Oh, yeah...that wasn't much of a gift.

I gave him some new welding wire, tips, nozzles & a pair of welding pliers to go with the MIG I got him for Christmas. And a 4-pack of carb rebuild kits for his '83 Kawasaki KZ550.

Had to have a broken humurus and elbow all screwed & plated up. Much better now, thanks.

The welder is a Hobart Handler 210MVP, switchable from 115/230. He loves it.

Wife with help from Becky, our Boston Terrier made me brownies with walnuts & mint inside.

Then we went to the gun show Sunday morning and out to lunch at a teriyaki place.

I got a real nice card, some gift cards, a couple versions of the board game Clue (my favorite board game) and an awesome day at Kennedy space center with the family followed by a nice dinner in Cocoa Beach.

I was in Orlando for a convention the week before so they tagged along and we spent the weekend on the space coast. It was one of the better fathers days I can remember.

I took off for a 5 day ride (Dust to Dawson) attending and competing in an adventure bike gathering. I completed the course, and didn't wreck my bike. Honed some water-crossing and sand skills, and completed the top of the world highway challenge.

Here's a pic of about 50 of us leaving Dawson on Saturday:

Here's me at the border waiting to see if they've seen my "cut" here:

I did NOT participate in the sour toe cocktail club.
