CNN still has more overseas assets than other channels. Gulf War they were still good but since Clinton it's been all downhill. I lived overseas and watched them until Fox popped up. But I no longer trust them on overseas issues at all considering their bias and propaganda. Amanpour should be on Aljazera she is so worthless.

I hope they go the way of Circuit City and Blockbuster, a "remember when" kind of thing.

The only time I see CNN or any of them is when Fox, NewsMax, OAN, etc., is playing a clip of their idiocy or liberal nonsense.

Well that sucks yet I am happy. On one hand they reaped what the sowed, yet I can see them all applying for jobs at Fox News some getting hired there and contaminating it.

Elon just posted on X: No Advertising for Pharma [when it comes to TV commercials]. Per my earlier comment in this thread, this change is absolutely necessary and I hope Trump's admin makes it happen.

Total elimination would be fine, but there is a lot of pushback from Big Pharma. The current proposal requires drugmakers to be clearer about explaining the risks and side effects of prescription drugs. Still that is not enough. In the past the only ads were in JAMA.

There is ZERO consumer benefit to advertising prescription drugs on TV! Half the time, they don't even mention what the drug is intended to treat! If you think about it, the only group that stands to gain from such advertising is Big Pharma, which can curry favor/influence w/ those being paid for the advertising spots, and the ultimate result is that the Legacy Media is beholden to them, as was evidenced during COVID.
