CNN's shocking low ratings revealed as staff brace for mass layoffs Login/Join

Back in 2016, traditional news networks and print papers were already on the back-foot of viewership and subscriptions given the advances in online content, their business model was seen as being antiquated and not current, not to mention the 12-years prior laid-bare their bias and favoritism during the Bush & Obama admins. DJT entered the presidential race, and they couldn't help themselves but continue to interview & feature him, which ultimately elevated his profile and vaulted him into the White House. Eight years later, they've all but exhausted their slights, insinuations and insults...their business is barely hanging on, alternative media has matured and network executives are naval-gazing about 'what went wrong'.

Literally.

These assholes of media were so much a propaganda voice for the Democrats, it was insane and ridiculous how bad they got.

They threw everything they could at Trump and failed miserably, the country had enough and are now leaning in a conservative direction. Yes, their "usefulness" is gone. Miserable failures, they all deserve what's coming.

Somewhat like the guy who was the Little League hero and can't understand why no one appreciates him 20 years later.

Do the talking heads make anywhere near what they could make on YouTube etc? I suspect Tucker/Joe Rogan etc are making vastly more than 7MM.

Every conservative should refuse to talk to them, appear on their trash network, or answer a single question. they aren't the press, they are propaganda and marketing. Why any GOP people ever agree to go on these shows and networks is totally beyond me.

Absolutely spot on right, Vaalic.

CNN is Pravda. Might as well have Josef Goebbels in the anchor's seat most days. Lying, arrogant, condescending nobodies who look us right in the eyes and lie to our faces.

When's the last time you saw a negative story on a reporter? How many have been arrested for DWI, domestic violence, child porn, not paying taxes...oh, the secrets they hide while sitting in judgment over the rest of us.

It'll be a great day in America when CNN and these other ass clowns go under and have to get real jobs.

The only thing worse than "journalists" are politicians and child molesters...and it's close.

$20 million a year for Anderson Cooper?? What genius thought that was a good idea? Even if I agreed with his politics, he's just plain dull.

PBS is even worse than CNN. Taxpayer support of PBS should be slashed immediately.

You sell bullshit and you expect people to keep coming back?

Although the highlight of the night was watching MSNBC, CBS, and ABC on election night. They would hold Trump to 266 and not call it. Either because it would kill them to do so or they were afraid their viewers would immediately drop out.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

It's pretty easy - get RFK Jr and the new FTC Commissioner to eliminate all pharmaceutical advertising on TV. It's not allowed in the EU and it shouldn't be allowed here. The Life Sciences/Pharma industry is one of the bedrock supporters of the GDCs and accounts for ~ 90% of the MSM advertising revenue. Think about that figure for a second.

this

-- how many people do think see a pharmaceutical ad and say "I better go to the doctor, I really need this pill" ?

the pharmaceutical ads was just the payola for the mouth pieces, when FRK, Jr puts a stop to that, they will be dead in the water

Absolutely spot on! As Sigfreund note, CNN's heyday was during the 1991 Persian Gulf War.

Yep. Wolfie Blitzer was big stuff then, and he's been living on that reputation ever since, along with the rest of CNN. It's time for the whole disgusting mess to come crashing down.

Yeah. Remember the "Scud Stud"?

Nowadays 10X more people see the CNN clips on X, with Caroline Leavitt demolishing the CNN spokesbroad.
