I'm probably a little chicken too, having done enough damage to important relationships in a previous life, and feel pretty much done being a jerk myself. I still have to be careful like that if I start feeling others deserve what's coming to them, even if they do, it's still not really the point for me personally. I believe in karma in the current and afterlife, and there are lots of other braver rednecks who can handle that important job of letting certain types of people know exactly where they stand in the grand scheme of things. I also believe in the mantra "but for the grace of God there go I". We've all done things we're not poud of or are ashamed of, obviously some more than others etc., but the human condition is a fucked up set of circumstances, mostly and wholly our own individual and collective faults, and realize in the grand scheme of life, if an honest judge were to line us up all up on the good to bad scale, I can't gaurantee I would necessarily stack up much better than him. For much that has been given to someone, more may be expected. And I truly don't know where I sit in the bell curve, so I'd prefer to err on the side of discretion vs valor in the off chance I won't be shown as much mercy as I might otherwise hope for at the beginning of the second life, for good or bad, at the eventual throne of judgement.

Good question Para, but that's my thing, good or bad. I'm not good with stuff like that anyway, being on the spectrum as they say. I'm good technically, but with lots of other things it's a crap shoot, and I've learned to study and not act on my limitations.

Thanks all for entertaining my question, it is actually pretty helpful for me. Going forward I'm going to forget about him, let him pass by without saying hello etc., and stop cleaning up his stuff etc. I don't have any mercy for criminals and citizens who hate our Constitution, so there's no reason I can't extend that philosophy to folks who don't deserve additional effort after having so many chances to redeem themselves.
