Well we got a bunch of snow so no school today. Which means no going to check out the Expedition.
1 Dad, 3 kids in car seats going on a test drive is not happening.
Hopefully back to school tomorrow and no one feels like looking at cars.

Maybe put a deposit on the next one you want to look at. If they would be willing to until you can get a look and make a decision?

Dealer just called and said he found a 2016 with 8k less miles silver in color for only $600 more plus adds a sunroof. Under 50k miles is nice.
$250 refundable deposit if there is an issue with the vehicle. Go right ahead Sir.

I clarified the stipulations of their lifetime powertrain warranty.
Maintenance must be done at Factory required intervals by any ASE certified mechanic.
I guess for lifetime coverage on the big dollar parts I can suck it up and have it done at the mechanic I trust.
I much prefer to do it myself but if it means them paying for motor, transmission, or 4wd or me paying for it. Kind of a no brainer.

Congrats on finding the Expedition! I think you will be happy with your purchase. The more I drive mine the more I love it.
For a big 4WD SUV it ride and drives like a Cadillac.

The stipulations are not that bad. Most good mechanics these days are ASE certified. At least they didn't stipulate at their dealership. If you wait a few months I think prices will drop on the ones you're looking at a good bit as more and more 2018's are out and about.
