| I used a Stihl 2 stroke for years and it is a very good trimmer but I recently bought an Ego 56volt electric and I will never go back to gas. The Ego is slightly less powerful than the Stihl but fully capable for all normal trimming. An added benefit of the Ego is that my model has automatic string loading... very easy. |

| I have a 4 stroke that my wife got me for Father's Day a few years ago. It's awesome. Yes, it's a bit heavy, but it also has the edger attachment. I love being able to just toss gasoline in it. I think she got the one from Lowe's.

To all of you who are serving or have served our country, Thank You
| Thanks all. Ended up picking up a Echo SRM-266 string trimmer, 2 stroke at HD for $299. I decided to go this route because already had a Echo blower I've had good luck with. HD seems to be stocking all the common parts needed for their Echo 2 strokes so it works out. |

They are an Echo dealer and stock most everything in their warehouse, and what they don't have in the store you can buy on Home Depots website and they ship it to the store or your house very quickly. I have mostly Echo and like them. |
