In my unit in the ANG, there is a “legend story” that circulated that an individual didn’t want to be in the Guard anymore and keep trying to get out, think “Corporal Klinger”. One weekend Drill at the Saturday morning open ranks Wing formation on the Ramp, he showed up wearing only skivvies but his fatigues had been painted on by his girlfriend. Those guys wearing woodland probably were allowed to wear if their deserts were dirty/destroyed, was he on float or, flew-back straight from field? | |||
