Not to worry, pretty soon they’ll have a headline questioning the environmental footprint of the entire operation, wondering why they had to use so much av-gas, maybe some concerns about residual perchlorate contamination from the explosives, and whether we’re now liable about raising the lead content in that area.

maybe someone wanted to move up in the organization, and they made a phone call.

That would be a nice old time CIA trick. Have news media report that the location of the 2 killed was from an inside tip. Makes staff meetings awkward.

I'm not being hyperbolic when I say I believe the Dems would gladly trade the lives of our soldiers for bad press on Trump.

It has been my experience the Dem's would trade the lives of American soldiers for just about anything that would be detrimental to this country. They actually are that back.

And in related news, Adam Schiffhead is now claiming the recently-fired John Bolton is going to be a "key witness" in his KGB-fashioned witch hunt.

Yeah, sure. Every time Schiffhead (and his pal Jerry Nad-less) come out with some stupid "Aha, we've got him now" proclamation, it soon deteriorates into shit. We've come to expect no less.

In fact, Politico has an article today by John Gans titled, "Don’t Bet on John Bolton to Be an Impeachment Hero." Its subhead reads, "The president’s former national security adviser might have opposed the Ukraine scheme. But he also spent his career fighting for the power of the presidency and the limits of congressional inquiry."

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

Stuck in my head since first heard the news this morning:

Celebrate. The world is now a safer place - if only a bit more.

And, we have patriots to thank for it, including President Trump.

Now, Chris Wallace asked VP Pence on FoxNews why President Trump didn't advise Nancy Pelosi of the upcoming raid, and Pence dodged the question, more than once, saying, in essence, "there wasn't any time to do so." Yeah that's bullshit and everyone knows it. I wish that VP Pence wouldn't have played the politician, especially after President Trump stood before the press this morning and flatly stated why "some people" weren't advised beforehand- because "Washington is the leakiest city in the world." Now, that's pretty damn clear.

Wallace asked twice, being respectful when asking the second time, and once VP Pence avoided the question a second tme, Wallace moved on.

Look, Mike, you're contradicting the public and very plain statements made by the POTUS. Why didn't you just answer the question? You could have said "I believe President Trump addressed this earlier today." Simple as that. Instead, you played the politician. Very disappointing. I don't want to call you nutless, but that was a bullshit answer and everyone can see the phoniness of it. You're not doing us any favors with this stuff. Let the Dems give these bullshit, intelligence-insulting non-answers. You're with President Trump, so, speak plainly, please.

I, too, hope he tells em' of his mere policy differences and then makes them sorry they ever called him.

Last week Lewis and today it is Conyers being “called home”, and now Hill resigns; and previous Special Elections have been going Republican. Looks like Pelosi’s hold on the House is weakening through “natural selection”. Big Grin

On a side note, I wanted to relive the glory of election night 2016 and watch some of the meltdown videos on YouTube because they never get old. Well YouTube has removed nearly all of them.

Oh, did she? I don't give a shit about her personal life. She can eat all the clams she likes for all I care. But, but I'll say this- the person who coined that idiotic term 'throuple' should be punched in the face and locked in someone's basement for a couple of months.

You know, to get the point across to not do that again. I despise people who coin cutesy words like this and subvert the English language, Yes, I know that English is a very rich language and it is constantly changing, but it doesn't need this cutesy that's-so-clever horse shit interjected into it. Punch them in the face and lock them up for a while.

Al-Baghdadi takedown catches Dems flat-footed, blunts criticism of Trump's Syria pullback
quote:
President Trump's successful operation to take out Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi sent Democrats scrambling on Sunday, as several top party leaders had complained publicly in recent days that the White House had no "real plan" to combat the terror group following the U.S. pullout in Syria.

In a dramatic sign of how Democrats' messaging apparently backfired, NBC's "Saturday Night Live" ran an ill-timed sketch suggesting that Trump had created "jobs" for ISIS -- just hours before the president held a news conference announcing al-Baghdadi's demise. The sketch aired around the time the two-hour late-night raid in northwest Syria was underway.

"It's genuinely fascinating watching Democrats in real-time struggle to figure out what to say about this," journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote on Sunday. "They want to be patriotic and anti-ISIS, but also need a way to malign Trump without contradicting their gushing Obama praise over [Usama bin Laden]: not an easy balancing act. Good luck!"
Ha ha, ya dopey lookin' douchebags. Why would the President tell you anything, you loudmouthed jerks. Razz
