Another Pivot on Impeachment

So the Demoshits are trying yet again to play the 25th Amendment angle which they tried and failed at like 2 years ago?

WHY TRUMP IS NUTS! UNSTABLE! YEAH, THAT'S THE TICKET! WE GOT HIM NOW!

Trump's Doral resort to host G-7 summit next year
BY BRETT SAMUELS - 10/17/19 12:45 PM EDT

THE HILL >> https://thehill.com/homenews/a...t-year?userid=392361
===========================
"The United States will host the 2020 Group of Seven (G-7) summit at Trump National Doral, a resort property owned by President Trump's family.

The summit will take place from June 10-12, acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told reporters Thursday.

The decision is certain to spark challenges from Democrats and ethics watchdog groups who will argue that the president is seeking to enrich his family's brand by bringing world leaders to a Trump property.".......

======================
I can't wait to hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth when the GDC's get a load of this.

Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

You won't wear it in places where they ask you to take it off, and believe me, there are places where you'd be asked to take it off, and if you don't take it off, you will be asked to leave, and if you don't leave, the police will be called and you will be escorted off the premises.

Yeah, that looks like a really cute hat. You gonna wear that around children? This kind of thing does not help us.

I... really wish Ted Nugent would quiet down a bit.

It's far too often, far too consistently, for oh, maybe 20 years now, where I've seen of one of his recent exploits and had this exact thought:
quote:
This kind of thing does not help us.

I used to watch his hunting show with a buddy once in a while some fifteen years ago. I decided I was done when he bow shot a black bear, and it ran up a tree, and 'ol Ted climbs out of his tree stand, runs to the base of the tree and draws a Glock 10mm and hammers a good ten rounds at this bear in the tree. It comes crashing down and he's all smiles and I, a bow hunter, wanted to punch him right in the mouth.

The Press in the briefing are acting like petulant children. How many questions do they need to ask about Trump's property selection for the G7? I think these press briefings needs to be discontinued and the Press can take notes again near the helicopter. Pravda deserves no less.

Be in the moment, my fellow patriots! These are the good old days!
You are most likely right, but I hope that it isn’t the case. I hope that President Trump is as good at succession planning as he is at the rest of it and he finds someone who is going to keep shoving it right down the filthy GDCs’ throats just like he does from 2025-2033.
We could have Republican Presidents for the next fifty years and there would still be no one like Donald Trump. Whoever comes after President Trump is going to be just another politician. IOW, business as usual.
You helped us see the good of President Trump from the beginning so we will value your thoughts again when the time comes. I dont know much about Jim Jordon from Ohio but he seems to have the Presidents back always. Too early for speculation. We need to continue to make good for the next 5 years.

Anyone who believes that this President has profited a dime after taking office is a clueless ignoramus. On the contrary, he's sacrificed a large portion of his wealth. And on top of that, he's working for the American people for free!

Mick Mulvaney's attitude towards the questions of these Trump-hating reporters is akin to that of Stephen Miller when he fielded questions from these frauds, only with none of the smirking. Mulvaney is doing a great job and you can tell that the members of the "press" in that room are starved for actual information, which is bizarre, because they'll never report factually on the answers Mulvaney provided, but instead, just spin the shit out of all of it. These are sick, angry, frustrated people and Americans have become wise to their bullshit. It ain't gonna get any better for "news media".

They're trying to get Mulvaney to say what they want to hear, but he's not havin' any of it. They're pushing their bullshit narrative of "President Trump withheld aid to a foreign nation unless that nation smeared one of his opponents in the current election cycle" and Mulvaney is explaining the facts to these children and if you listen to what he tells them, you'll hear that he knows what he's talking about. If the House Dems voted on their phony impeachment, the Republican and the President's team could then present the evidence- and there is, in fact, evidence- that this is not how things went down. Yet another reason why Pelosi won't hold a vote. The left has painted itself into a corner and their bullshit is going to fail, yet again.

Regarding President Trump's actions in Syria, I support him except for one thing- the letter he sent to Erdogan. That letter was a mistake, or rather, I should say that the tone and the contents of the letter were mistakes. If you read the letter, you may agree. He threatened to "destroy" the economy of Turkey. This was a mistake. Even if Turkey was not a NATO ally threats like that don't get us anywhere. He also said Erdogan was in danger of going down in history as a "devil". Not good. If it is the intention of the President to elicit cooperation from Turkey, then that letter was a bad mistake. The rumor is that after reading this letter, Erdogan threw it in the trash, and I have no trouble believing this.

Pence, Pompeo secure cease-fire agreement in Syria after meeting with Turkish president

There's no word yet though on any ceasefire in Kentucky.

From what I hear of Kentuckians, they aren't about to stop shooting anytime in my life time, or beyond.

What, specifically, is wrong with the letter? President Trump made it personal as two intense men would say to make things clear.

Heck, tougher things may need to be said to Turkey as they have a lot of their might backed up by the United States.

We protect them with nukes on their soil.

If the Turks are aligned with the West, they should act in a way other than as a menacing force to ethnically cleanse a population.

If Turkey's strongman doesn't get it and ignores the spirit of his earlier conversation with President Trump, it seems he deserved more pain than what he received to his ego.

President Trump has threatened economic decimation as an instrument of foreign policy before. Why is it a bad instrumentality or phrasing in his letter now?

I believe I was clear: The tone, the threat to "destroy" the economy of a NATO ally, and saying that Erdogan will go down in history as a devil. This is exacty what I stated before.

Really, I am trying to understand your thoughts.

Why do you think what he said was so bad?

It seems to me that Turkey remains a NATO member, increasingly, in name only.

It seemed to me that President Trump was trying to tell Turkey that they were on a precipice.

They could go one of two ways and he was blunt and stark in his descriptions.

I hope so, if necessary.

He never before faced a NATO ally who ignored personal interaction and decided to start what looked like gleeful ethnic cleansing.
