^^^ It is clear if you read the texts of the time that the founders never intended foreigners who happened to be in the State at the time to be counted in the census for the sake of how many representatives will be sent to DC. It's absurd to think otherwise.

Yep. Even without taking the context of the their entire work. It's pretty damn obvious. No country on this planet would want non citizens choosing their destination. The census is what determines representation in House and Electoral College.

Even the quote you used you included the part about untaxed Indians. It was clear that they were excluding non tax payers who were not subjects to our country. If you zoom out a little bit and read the first sentence. "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." We can see we are talking about the the citizenry here, not random people on vacation at the time the census is taken or people that are here illegally and subjects of another country. If you look even more broadly the 14th amendment is a reaction to how to deal with counting our citizens which stemmed from slaves being granted their freedoms and no longer being 3/5 of a citizen and becoming 1 citizen.

There is no one who can honestly say it's just about counting people, and to include people that are here illegally or temporarily. They have no say in our government. Whatsoever. I don't care what you say, you can not change my mind to make me believe it was intended for non citizens to drive our countries destiny.

They should be counted in the census, just excluded when determining US population for the purposes of EC and House.

Watching two host on FOX News going on and on about President Trump seemingly believing Putin.
Trump has stated that Putin has denied interfering with our elections.
President Trump did not state that he believed him.

Getting pretty sick of this line of attacking President Trump by FOX News.

What exactly do these so called News Journalist want President Trump to do?

I expect Russia and other countries to try and interfere in our elections.
What I don’t expect is for a Presidential administration and U.S. Government officials to weaponize the U.S. Intelligence agencies against a Presidential Candidate.

Surprisingly Russia taking out some Facebook ads does not enrage me.

What Hillary Clinton, the Obama administration, other U.S. Government officials and our Intelligence Agencies did, does outrage me.

Why must FOX News maintain these political hacks, we have enough of them on the other channels.

Until Hillary is charged with mishandling classified information and gets her day in court I will never believe in our "Just-Us" system.

+1 Most all countries, including ours, interfere in one way or another.

I suspect Mueller didn't even find the good stuff.

A paraphrase of Thomas Jefferson is always what I thought was our collective hedge against such dangers: an educated citizenry.

It's not stopped by some stern presidential glare but by a citizenry who can see it for what it is.

If the press wanted to help, that's where they could do it.

It's being appealed and will be heard by the 9th Circuit as early as next week.

I don't see how this judge's order stands even considering that the 9th Circuit Appeals court is hearing it soon.

Dimon, who heavily criticized the president at an event in New York City last September and apologized soon after, said Trump deserves 'some' credit for making the economy stronger.

In an interview with Yahoo Finance Editor-in-Chief Andy Serwer, that aired on Yahoo Finance, Dimon said that the country needed tax reform.

'All my liberal New York friends would never agree with me. But the fact is, we needed tax reform,' he said. 
Dimon welcomed the reduction in the corporate income tax rate, cut from 35 per cent to 21 per cent.

He believes the cuts are making the U.S. more competitive with other countries in efforts to attract industry.

He also thinks a reduction in the corporate income tax rate will be good for the U.S. long-term…”
