Just want to echo the plug for Para for creating this awesome form. I feel older every day as my teenagers are wearing me out but at 51 I feel young when I see so much wisdom, humor, and such from our more senior members. Godspeed to you all! And remember like my father, who's 82, says "You are only as old as the woman you feel!"

Here’s your answer, I think. Graniteguy reports that he’s 106 years old:

Well now. That's humbling.

Graniteguy should be granted an exemption from all moderation in this forum. I don't think it's exactly right for me to be admonishing anyone who is- at my age- old enough to be my grandfather. This is not to say I recall ever having to take him to task, but it seems wrong for the potential to exist of me lecturing anyone so very much my senior.

Graniteguy, come forth and claim your Get Out of Jail Free card*

*non-transferable. void where prohibited. certain restrictions may apply. please check your local laws. cash value: priceless
