Nearing the bottom of my bottle of Stagg Jr. Poured myself some over a big chunk of ice. It's down right tasty.

I picked up a bottle of Season's Special Edition from Maker's Mark. It is Maker's Mark 101 proof. I have never seen this bourbon for sale before, and thought I would give it a try.

Saw that in the store today and hadn't grabbed a cart, so I left it on the shelf. Is it good? I've never tried that one of theirs.

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

A Christmas gift from my son-in-law, an unfiltered rye from a boutique distiller in Ouray, Colorado, KJ Wood Distillers. He calls it Ourye. Very interesting. I always keep a rye on hand but most often to make a Manhattan. I haven’t decided yet if I really like it, but it’s able to stand on its own; I’m having it neat right now.
