More from the above article...

Let's just blame it on our non-woke customers:
Roll Eyes

Target said on Tuesday it was removing some items from its stores and making other changes to its LGBTQ+ merchandise nationwide ahead of Pride month after intense backlash from some customers who confronted workers and tipped over displays.

“Since introducing this year’s collection, we’ve experienced threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and well-being while at work,” Target said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior.”

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Translated: We're going to give the impression that right wing white extremists, the most dangerous people in America have threatened employees and the stores with harm, but the reality is, housewives aren't coming in to shop, and they are telling associates and managers they don't like our transgender pandering. We are going to keep telling the "threats" line as an excuse to hide our mistake.

Translated: We had no clue that even though our Bud Light sales were down about the real impact that promoting transgenderism would be on our sales, we only thought frat boy redneck 4wd pickup driving white racist transphobes boycotted Bud Light. We never realized that housewives and their husbands don't want their kids exposed to Transgender sexuality merchandise, We are deeply sadden that our customer just doesn't see how enlightened the move was, so in the name of profits, we'll pull back the merchandise.

Perfectly summed up translations of corporate horsesh*t.

DEI, and it's effects everywhere is at the heart of the anger we see expressed in this general rebellion. Both in the case of Anheiser Busch and Target, both entities are seeing severe pushback on crap that people might want, but ultimately do not need. If they feel they need beer or tiny swimsuits, there is a hell of a lot of competition in both markets.

The point is boycotts under the above circumstances can be accomplished extremely easily by virtually any consumer that gives enough of a crap to do so. They've been wanting to kick someone in the teeth for a lot of the woke crap being force fed to them. In many cases, they don't have an easy alternative (public schools come to mind at the top of the list) to switch or fight back. People have needed a vulnerable 'target(s)' to beat up on at will. That anger has been building up for a while now.

AB and (the unfortunately named) Target have effectively just strode casually out on a hot range in a Saddam Hussain mask wearing a pink tutu.

It just occurred to me....I wonder what the typical Target employee thinks of this shit? I would guess there are more "normal" employees than those who actually are okay with this nonsense.

OOPS!

Target loses $9B in week following boycott calls over LGBTQ-friendly kids clothing

Target has lost $9 billion in market value since angry social media users called for a boycott of the Minneapolis-based retailer over its rollout of the “PRIDE” collection featuring LGBTQ-friendly clothing for children.

A week ago Wednesday before the controversy erupted, Target’s stock closed at $160.96 a share, giving the big-box chain a market capitalization of $74.3 billion.

As of early trading on Thursday, however, shares of the company were trading off 1% at $141.76 — capping a weeklong tumble that has shrunk the “cheap chic” discount retailer’s value to $65.3 billion.

That amounts to a 12% drop that has shaved a whopping $9 billion off the company’s market capitalization.

Operative phrase "sense of safety". They didn't say there were any actual threats, which might require proof.

Sorry it was sent to me and I just past it along. Here is a copy and paste.

ACVF Hits Target Corp - Divesting in Wake of Latest Woke Debacle
WASHINGTON, DC / ACCESSWIRE / May 25, 2023 / Today, the American Conservative Values ETF (NYSE:ACVF) announced that it divested its holdings of and initiated a "Refuse to Buy" rating for Target Corp. (TGT) on May 24th, 2023.
Target Corp.'s ever increasing pandering to the Woke LGBT agenda has backfired and its management team's inept response to a crisis of their own making has significantly damaged their brand across the political spectrum. We believe their stocks' long-term performance will suffer because of it. Their actions have also removed any doubt about the company's hostility to conservative values. After a comprehensive review of our continued investment in Target ACVF's management team has decided to divest its holding of Target Corp. (TGT).
"Not only weren't they smart enough to stay apolitical, they picked the wrong side," stated ACVF CEO and co-founder William Flaig.
"Hopefully the examples of Target and Bud Light reinforce the need for liberal corporate managers to focus on maximizing shareholder returns and stop playing politics," stated ACVF's President and co-founder Tom Carter, adding "Go woke go, broke is real."
According to Investor's Business Daily, Anheuser-Busch's market value has dropped a staggering $15.7 billion between April 1st and May 23rd.
JP Morgan analyst Jared Binges told his clients "We believe there is a subset of American consumers who will not drink a Bud Light for the foreseeable future," adding "We believe a 12% to 13% volume decline on an annualized basis would be a reasonable assumption."
ACVF attempts to dynamically align with the concerns of politically conservative investors without sacrificing performance. [ACVF Factsheet] [Videos] "We do not want to invest in the likes of Disney, Meta, Blackrock, Google, etc. We do not want to give these companies that are eagerly working to destroy conservative values our hard-earned investment dollars, and neither should you," states Flaig. [List of current Boycotts]
"Target has shown their true colors," stated Tom Carter, adding, "We have been keeping an eye on Target's behavior for some time. Although we have historically perceived Target as trending towards "The Woke" liberal agenda, we felt their behavior wasn't the worst of the worst among general merchandising companies."
In our ongoing survey of woke/liberal companies, Target (TGT) ranked 9th overall in our June 2022 survey, with 10% of participants selecting them as their top 3 most woke/liberal companies. This was up significantly from 3% of participants in our previous survey. [Survey Link]
"Giving conservative investors the power to respond to such concerns is an example of why we built ACVF," said Tom Carter, adding that "the management team continually seeks to better understand politically conservative investors' sentiments and opinions as corporate reputations are impacted by news events and market performance."
"We must hold these companies accountable for their actions and insist on transparency. We need to vote with our wallets. Politically conservative consumers and investors have started to react, boycotting goods and services as well as denying them access to the capital they need. ACVF is currently refusing to invest in 34 such companies," said Flaig, adding, "I'm proud to offer an alternative to the S&P 500*, which currently keeps 25 cents of every invested dollar from these companies."
The final decision to boycott a company is qualitative. Fund management uses a weight-of-the-evidence approach that takes into consideration the company's standing reputation among political conservatives. Management evaluates their potential portfolio performance risk, economic sector, and reputation relative to peers. Typically, not one simple thing creates a reputation, but there is an event such as this that calls us to action.

Exactly. Remember those bitches who filmed the patrons of a restaurant singing the national anthem. Several people including the bitches commented that they were or would be terrified and people claimed they would run away. It was insane. Those girls have likely never been safer.

The reality is that we have a country full of pussies who are afraid of their own shadow. Their comfort level means nothing to me anymore.

Ok, they think they have been 'impacted', got it.

When a 7-11 in S. Seattle gets robbed by a gang of 5 and the clerk is pistol whipped or when an elderly woman is pushed down a flight of cement stairs at the train station it is a single that we have to 'do the work' to become more 'inclusive'.

I guess I have to confess, I thought the 60's were weird, not even close. Except for bell bottoms of course, they're weird.

No it's not. It's inter-age relationships where children that are obviously old enough to make gender decisions, are old enough to be diddled by these pervert monsters.

After that it's incest.

It's disgusting depravity.
