Top Gun II nailed it last year with $718m+ domestic and another $777m+ internationally, that $1.5 billion figure is just at the box office. And it was apolitical, unless you listen to the anti-patriotic Left.

The Equalizer 3 is at $190m and counting, on a $75m budget.

The latest Mission Impossible is at $567m and counting worldwide.

As it turns out, people still love the big budget movie experience in theaters. They just don't want to be lectured to by sophomoric Hollywood Leftists who cannot keep their own lives in order.

Here’s a hint for the clueless Hollywood types. People will pay to be inspired.

Here's a quick rundown that hits most of the bases. She's basically an Oscar Winning Diva that thought she was hot stuff that finally found out this year that maybe she wasn't the best that ever was.

^^^That is one of a bunch of videos about her disdain for men, white especially, and that video was pretty tame.

When I was a kid a had a subscription to a couple of Marvel comics: Spider man and the Incredible Hulk. That was before any movies, even before Lou Ferrigno did the TV series. They came in the mail, they were well written and illustrated.

Since Stan Lee sold out, I'm not really interested in Marvel and especially not Disney.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I have no plans to see this movie because I have no desire to be told that as a straight white man I am a terrible person. That’s basically what Captain Marvel was about.

But I’ll say that I have “superhero fatigue” for sure. My kids were young when the first Iron Man and Avengers movies came out and going to the new releases was a fun family tradition for my kids, their mother and I. Even after we divorced we continued the tradition.

But as the kids got older and the writing got worse and the movies started coming out faster and faster we lost interest. I didn’t even watch the new Ant-Man and I think those movies are hilarious. I just have no interest.

Stupid assholes could announce and release an Ultra hi-def remaster of the Theatrical version of the original trilogy, both in theaters and on bluray and wake up the next morning with a couple billion dollars in their pockets.

God I hate Disney so much. Lucas isn't guilt-free either. Star Wars won awards for stuff that he turned around and removed from the movie for his ego-driven Special Edition bullshit.

Sorry... the cultural vandalism Disney is involved in is so disgusting.

FYI, there is a “despecialized” version of IV,V, & VI out there. Some SW purists took the Special Editions in HD, and somehow removed all the SE additions and changes. It is like watching the original theatrical version of the 1977,80,&83 releases in high definition. I was amazed at how well these guys did at removing the Lucas additions.

If you are really interested in seeing them, let me know and I can help you out.

There's also a 70mm transfer of the original Star Wars films in 4K running around. They're titled 4K77, 4K80, and 4K83.

Agree 100%. And honestly the Superho Disney Marvel bullshit was decent popcorn shit in the beginning of the 30 some odd films they’ve done. Decent. I really liked the first Thor film. It could have been a stand alone as Kenneth was the director, a thespian. The first few Iron Man films were decent too. Guardians 1. But then as the women/woke/gay narrative was pushed, and the studio heads decided to dumb down the dialogue for overdubbing for China, it just all went to shit. Now it’s 100% wokeville. So bad that Cartman and SouthPark are clowning Kennedy in their cartoons. It’s just off the rails. Like you said, people are long past being preached at and I’m happy to watch this festering Disney bullshit implode, both on the Star Wars side as well as Marvel. People are tired of being preached at, tired of woke, tired of shit story, shit dialog and just bad movies that are more interested in preaching than delivering a solid story. Blade is my last chance on this front as I very much like Ali and think he is one of the best actors out there. But I read a few weeks ago, how there is controversy on that front too. Rewrites, reshoots, and just drama, so they probably fucked that all up too. Until Kennedy is straight up fired, it’s done.

This is a passing phase, a social contagion. These movies can and will be re-made in the future. Captain Marvel is male. This bunch of whack-ass dykes and beta males who have hijacked Hollywood will be replaced at some point. Civilization will not long tolerate the utter insanity that's seized upon it. One day, all this will be the past, and the pendulum will swing back to a more natural state.

One must always remember that we are moving through history, and nothing is constant.
