You may have already seen this, but one enterprising Girl Scout hit it out of the park by going to the right audience, Mike Rowe.

Local girls in front of Walmart. Set up in a NICE shiny polished food service trailer!
Had their signage on it. Wondered if they owned it. They are sure moving up.

Friends Family Walmart! No more door to door preorders?

Door to door has been discouraged to some extent. Stranger danger and all that, at least child by themselves.

Location is everything, and a kid who can be a good barker.

Boy Scouts used to set up in front of the liquor store to sell popcorn.

Just left my sister's house after buying five boxes of thin mints.

One box was empty by the time I got home.
