I used to get a paper everyday whether it was the Richmond Times disgrace or the VA Pilot. Then I just started getting the paper on Thursday because of the weekend section.

As many have stated, the prices started climbing and it wasn't worth what you were getting.

That goes for USA Today also.

My mom and dad still get the paper delivered everyday. When I lived in Cols. I read it everyday but sadly the last few years it has become paper thin even the Sunday addition.

Our local print paper had gotten to over $200 a year and wife canceled it. I was subscribing to the Richmond Times Dispatch, that was delievered to a friends home in a nearby town. I would go pick it up about every day, but the carrier was independent and starting really jacking up his delivery price. And too, the Richmond Times Dispatch morphed into a more liberal edition several years ago, So I cancelled that subscription.

I get a weekly local paper from Highland County , Va, and really enjoy it, and another weekly paper from our county seat, which is good.

Atlanta Journal here. I've always preferred news print, though the subscription gives online access as well, and they may have even more online. A Cox property, it's probably the most effective investigative journalism in the city. They are the ones that exposed Bill Campbell for Tex evasion, and the Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal, among other things.

Haven't for about 3 years. The delivery sucked. I would arrive so I'd have a few minutes to read. Then it got later and later. The last straw was not getting the Sunday paper. Called, got promised it would be out "right away." Then no paper. Monday night they delivered the Sunday paper. Customer service was off shore. The Rep could not understand why I was upset. I did get the paper right? "It was a day late!" "Yes, but you got the paper."
Yea, enough.

Yep we are 24/7 baby. Always have been. Unusual for Mississippi. This is the Coast. Illegal gambling going back to the early 1950s. Dixie Mafia. 1992 Casinos came. Third largest market behind Vegas and Atlantic City. Hidden gem. Beaches, babes and action. Crusing the Coast. Ask SIg MOnkey he was here before Nate chased his ass out of town. And GUN FRIENDLY FOLKS!

I used to. It was always here before 5:00, and I could read it before heading to work. When we got a new paper person, the deliveries got real unpredictable. I got tired of walking out to see if it had arrived yet.

It’s about 3/4 liberal rag, so when I retired I decided it wasn’t worth walking 100 feet in the rain, or snow to get it. For $10.00 a month I get the digital version on my iPad. It gives me something to do with my morning coffee, but lately I’ve been wondering if it’s worth the $10.00.
