From two guys I listen to Victor Davis Hanson and Sebastian Gorka on Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, two that have completely gone off the rails in recent times.

Good clips. The Daily Signal VDH clip is especially good. Among many astute observations, Hanson delineates the distinction between antisemitism on the left and antisemitism on the right. Starting at about the 7:30 mark.

Thank you for posting those 2 clips. It's comforting to hear actual intellect that is the basis for Judeo-Christian ethics, rather than the shit being spewed

William F. Buckley was a master at cross-examination during interviews.
Tucker doesn't have that skill and usually just lets people talk.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Buckley was able to control his interviews partly due to his command of his own show, the respect his guests had for him (most of the time) and also it was a different time. If he would be on today, I'm not sure he'd be able to curb the hatred and manage to cross both sides without getting interrupted.

There is a madness running through the high-profile supposedly "conservative" commentator community. It goes beyond the blatant grifting and genuine stupidity of Candace Owens and the bizarre Muslim ass-kissing of Tucker Carlson. There is a true madness afflicting some of these people.

Nietzsche called people like this "intellectual epileptics": They have seized upon an idea which has driven them insane. This is bad enough for society when this affliction occurs in anonymous individuals, who have little to no voice, because, over time, this insanity can snowball. When it happens in people or groups who are heard by millions, the potential for dire consequences is great.

I'm very happy to hear that Para and many of you have reached the same conclusion. This is a dangerous trend in the right-wing media community, that can tend to be conspiratorial.

As m wife said this morning, one person we really trust is Ben Shapiro. He was a Trump skeptic who was won over by Trump's policies and has become an articulate advocate of MAGA views.
He gave a speech at TPUSA that is widely cited. I haven't seen the video yet, but plan to. He called out by name Owens, Carlson and also Megyn Kelly in her newest incarnation of "just asking questions".

There are a lot of people in social media who have decided that MAGA needs to be remolded into THEIR image. One of the most interesting aspects of President Trump is his practicality and agility. He will put something out there; if it doesn't work he'll try something else. But always, always he has America's interests, and specifically the interests of the American working class, at heart.

He is by far the greatest disruptor of the elite institutions running the country that has ever gained the office of the presidency, or at least since Andrew Jackson.

Shawn Ryan can go off the rails whether it’s about hallucinogens or the hyperbolic rage at politicians, moon landing being faked etc. I do pick and chose some guests to listen to. He does get some really interesting voices I like to hear from.

Dinesh D'Souza really seems to have a good handle on the cultural issues underlying the political issues.

I should try to watch his new film, The Dragon's Prophecy.

Yes, you should, and I would encourage everyone to watch it.

I started a thread on it in The Lair and got a surprising lack of interest.

It is a must watch if you are at all concerned with what is going on in the West nowadays.

matt walsh, candace, tucker . . . Fine, they seem to be going through some sort of psychosis. Even years ago, Matt would insinuate that Talyor Swift was a Demon, it was weird.

No, what has me bothered is watching it have an effect on young people. My own daughter and her fiance kinda of got misled by the Tucker, Candace and others Anti Jew stuff. He even once started trying to hint "maybe the holocaust" may not have been entirely wrong? OMG.

I literally had a whiteboard out, going through stuff. The good news is they were able to listen, and seem to have stepped back from it.

It just pisses me off when these guys turn out to be loons.

That is a good list. I also get annoyed by Hannity. He keeps repeating the same thing over and over again. Like he is talking to morons. Also, Mark Levin is a little bit the same and I can't stand the sound of his voice.

One that I have stepped back from is Michael Yon. After the October massacre he was seemingly blaming the Israilis. Saying they wanted it to happen. Sigh
