I arrived home about 45mins ago from Virginia
I took me about 3 minutes to vote. (That includes getting out of the car, checking in and filling in the bubbles)

There was one other person in the room voting.

I then talked for a while and the poll workers said it was like that all day. A few here and there.

I then had all afternoon to shop, hit the used book store and pick up a few Mac Bolan on the $1 rack and hit Wawa.

The wawa turkey bowls are back......

As I was crossing into NC from VA there was a huge billboard that had Pres Trump on one side and Biden on the other.
Patriotism vs Socialism.

I voted straight R on the ticket.
And yes to both issues on the Virginia Ballot.

Obviously President Trump's reelection is still up in the air, but my Senate and rep candidates both won handily. Bill Hagerty (Senator) won ~62% of the vote. No Dem has represented my district (1st) since 1880, and rep-elect Diana Harshbarger was no exception. Besides being a newcomer to politics, she is also the first woman to be elected to this district, as well as a pharmacist replacing a doctor (Phil Roe).

On the same note, Texas did great in keeping it red.

We went Trump, Cornyn, kept Republican majorities in the U.S. House, State House and Senate, both Supreme Court and Appeals (100% red). We did not lose any ground state-wise.

worked early voting as a poll worker computer operator and voted in person toward the end of the first day 10-17-20. obnoxious voters ran the gamut of party affiliation - sadly a 50 / 50 proposition.
