| Voted a little after 1 p.m. Less than a dozen voters inside. Didn't have to wait at any point. |

Maybe not so fabulous after all
| Dropped off our ballots the other day. Not that it matters, since living in Eastern WA is living with no political representation.
On the plus side I got my Nickle Boron BCG and PSA Geisselle upper to replace the lame post ban upper on my old Bushmaster. |

| I just got back, got there just before 1300. One voter just finishing, one other and I checking in. There were 8 check-in positions! I was voter #203 at that place. A little worrisome, because Texas is reputed to be a big Election Day vote. This year, though, we could vote at any of the polling places, not resttricted to our own Precinct one, so maybe folks are voting someplace else. Very simple ballot--all people, no amendments. Same style ballot from last time: stick blank ballot into machine, use touch screen to select candidates, verify choices, hit PRINT and the ballot is disgorged with a bunch of bar codes and a (tiny) printed list of who was selected, insert ballot into counter. I checked and it did show the right people (I just hope the bar codes match). Whole process done in less than 10 minutes. Did get a sticker. flashguy

| Dropped off my mail in ballot at local polling place this morning. Took along my neighbor, a Chinese lady who claims she had never voted in China.

| I dropped off all five of my ballots on Saturday. (Wife and kids all cheated off of my test. )

| Voted this afternoon at 1:00 PM. No lines and about 1/2 dozen people inside. The wife went about 7:30 AM this morning before work and she waited about 1 1/2 hours. She said about 100 people in line.

| Voted after I got home from work at 3:45. My polling place is literally across the street, so quite convenient. There was no line whatsoever. I was in and out in 5 min., and that was mostly because I was making high damn sure the bubbles were perfect so there was no convenient "error" with my ballot. My ballot # was 344. I find it hard to believe that I was only the 344th person in the ward that day, so maybe there was a lot of mail-in voting. I also live right on the border of another voting ward, so there's a second polling place about 3 blocks away. Drove past on the way to work and the line was looped around the parking lot at 7:30. Easily an hour plus wait for those folks. A friend came up from NC for our wedding on Saturday, and she voted on Thursday. Talked to my wife on the phone the entire time she stood in line...one hour, 45 min.

| 30 minute process at 11 am this morning.......a heavier crowd than usual. A nice touch....when any "first time voter" would be checked in all of the poll workers would ask everyone to clap and cheer for them. My friend and his wife were just in front of me and they brought along their son Cullen for his first vote. Kid got a standing O! Pretty cool.
