After learning much more than I really wanted to know about this area of our anatomical challenges, I can see that this demands a mass demonstration of social rebellion! In support of our female cohorts and their "free the nipple" marches, I hereby establish the movement to "free the tallywacker!".

Our demonstrations will, paralleling the women, feature "tighty-whitey" burnings and street marches that feature open demonstration and exhibition of the aforementioned freed anatomical member! The only decision left is whether we choose to utilize crotch-less Levi's or perhaps peekaboo Scottish kilts. Ride to the sound of the "big guns"!

(Note: After reading the above, my wife says my history of underwhelming ideas has always reminded her of playing the old game of stick-lowering LIMBO with the rod being lowered with each successive round. She says my latest endeavor has now lowered the rod to the ground-level and I can't go any lower. Well, I tried.)

My dress blue USN pants were near the end of those issued with the 13 buttons. It was 1965. They went to zippers. When out doing any serious beer drinking one would only button the two top corner buttons. I liked the looks of the 13 button pants though. The pants in the pic above do not look like my dress blue pants.

Yes, still the same winds up being 15 buttons buttoned as two of then get buttoned twice.

I heard they are making zipper version with buttons that are just for looks, but I haven't seen them first hand.

Why is this important? If you're carrying a gun on a belt holster.

I think the fly just makes it easier to use only the zipper. Full unbuckling, particularly while carrying, is less convenient and just going over the top makes it more likely to trap a little.

I'm hoping Duluth has a nice sale on their regular boxers for Black Friday. I thought people were crazy for paying that much for underwear but after trying them, I can splurge on a pair here and there ... if it's a good sale.
