Here’s a thought; how about celebrities and movie stars and musicians just stay the hell out of politics altogether?

When did this become a thing anyway like this?

Things must of changed. It used to "Jody" who did that.

My experience is that a Jody sleeps with your wife/girl friend while you are deployed, and a Blue Falcon is somebody who makes like miserable for his coworkers.

The f-er part in buddy f-er is figurative, not literal.

In this case, biden is a great example of a Blue Falcon.

Thanks for that video, oddball. I am shocked at her apparent candor about the DNC, especially on Fox. She appears disillusioned and maybe ready to move on from the Democrats.

.
That wasn’t the impression I got. The impression I got is that Kamala Harris getting her ass handed to her (thank god) after Lindy went out and raised a lot of money embarrassed her and she was afraid of having the whole thing damage her credibility.

"George feels that the backlash he is getting for Kamala losing is not at all warranted," a source told DailyMail.com exclusively. "He thinks it is completely unfair to try and make him a scapegoat for her loss. He has backed the Democratic Party and invested so much time and money into them, but he is going to take a step back for now. He feels very disheartened."

Eat it Georgie. Fuck you Mr. Hollywood. You wanted to play the Democrat politics game? Welcome to reality. You're a washed up has been, no longer relevant.

Yes, that is about right. A Blue Falcon is not the same as a Jody.

A perfect example of a Blue Falcon is Tim Walz learning that his unit is going to deploy in 2 months to Iraq and he suddenly “retires” and gets the hell out of Dodge RIGHT after he is made Battalion CSM.

Yes. I chose a poor example.

So which is it? Joe Biden has dementia, or he’s a Bond villain capable of complex tasks? Reading your posts from a month ago, it appeared you believed that Joe Biden was an oatmeal for brains vegetable that couldn’t control his facilities. Now, obviously your opinion has changed and he’s a super villain capable of hatching out a plan to rob Ft. Knox?

He has dementia, he's clearly NOT capable of complex tasks.

Yes, and he always has been.
BUT so is Jill, and she's capable of directing Dementia Joe toward some retribution.

Make no mistake, Joe too would have lost the election to Trump. But he (and Jill) didn't do any favors to the Democrats or to Kamala in this campaign, partially because of dementia, but partially out of spite for how he was pushed aside.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

My feelings on this topic have evolved a bit... I used to be in the camp of "just shut up and sing/act/whatever".

Lately, though, I am thinking why shouldn't they be free to use their platform in any way they want.... however, don't whine and cry when things don't go how you thought. You voluntarily decide to press your opinion into the public arena then you've got to deal with whatever comes next.

In this specific case, perhaps George learned his lesson. Don't want to swim? Stay out of the pool.

For instance, nobody here is complaining about Kid Rock, right? Or even Elon? They are both using their platform to express their opinions, they just don't seem to care what that might cost them. Fine by them, fine by me.

The rest of us can choose whether or not to give their opinion any consideration at all.

The reality is most Celebrities are not very bright. Often the barely graduated high school and didn't go any further. Their understanding of law, economics, business, etc. is very simplistic.

But our celebrity obsessed culture leads them to believe they are more important than they are, and that their opinions on grown-up topics matter. They don't.

And actually I'm inclined to think he did turn Obama/Harris down, with the Dems ending up with unknown idiot Timmy Walz. No Dem with a half a brain would hitch their wagon to a Kamala Shitshow- Newsom, Whitmer, Kelly, Cuomo, Warren, etc. I'm sure Shapiro, along with Newsom and perhaps Whitmer, all have their eye on the prize in 2028, and they are relieved that Kamala lost big and is out of the picture.

There was a time when the Vice President was selected based on ability.

I noticed that in my lifetime, we haven't had a Vice President who was clearly selected for this reason. Instead it seems the Vice Presidents are being chosen as a guard against some dipshit assassinating the President. In every case where a Vice President became President (either through accession to the role i.e., Johnson or subsequently elected) were, in every case, utter fuck ups.

Eisenhower/Nixon
Kennedy/Johnson
Johnson/NO VP - Speaker of the House was John W. McCormack
Johnson/Humphrey
Nixon/Agnew
Ford/Rockefeller
Carter/Mondale
Reagan/Bush
Bush (41)/Quayle
Clinton/Gore
Bush (43)/Cheney
Obama/Biden
Trump/Pence
Biden/Harris

I mean can you imagine President Agnew? Or President Quayle? Or, God forbid, President Cheney?

Trump/Vance is the first partial break in this trend, as Vice President elect Vance has the abilities to be President.

The truth is, the Dems were fucked from kickoff on this one.

Walz sprinted to fame by calling Trump and Vance "Weird". No, Tim, actually you are weird. You have jazz hands, a Rockette's kick, and you put tampons in the boys bathroom. That's affirmatively weird.

"Trump is a fascist or nazi." Um, no. Real one's don't give up power, have Jewish daughters and in-laws, and they certainly don't welcome anyone and everyone into their voting coalition. Plus, he was president for 4 freaking years, and did noting fascistic or nazi-like.

"It's a vibes election." Wrong again. It's an economic, immigration, censorious, cultural, and the world is on the brink of international war election. Fuck your "vibes".

And now, for my favorite.

"Kamala is brat!" You go, girl, brat summer. Woo-hoo, yeah! Once again, kids, you have missed the mark. No one over the age of 25 knows who-the-fuck Charli XCX is, and even fewer of them care. Equating the potential president of the United States to a messy, slightly off-kilter, party girl, with a perpetual hangover is probably not the image you want for ostensible leader of the free world. This concept appeals to a tiny fraction of the liberal women under 30, who would vote for a "vibe". These are not serious people, nor is this a serious candidate.

To put it in perspective, Kamala is brat < Putin is real.

And once again, reality is undefeated.
