Yall all crazy,

Don't get no better than a plain ol' Tostinos.

Cook it until the bottom is crispy.

Try the Costco brand. I'm not one for frozen pizza. My wife makes an excellent pizza from scratch, so that's what we usually do, but we got one of those Costco ones one time for some reason, and it was actually pretty good...very similar to what they serve in their food courts, which itself is pretty decent for cheap carryout.

When going frozen, and let's face it sometimes frozen hits the spot, I prefer Freschetta. Yes I like making my own (especially on the grill), yes I order delivery sometimes, but we are talking frozen. Digorno is ok but there is something about their sauce I don't like. I really like the dough on Freschetta, cooks well and tastes good.

One tip I picked up on the forum is breaking up the frozen pizza into pieces. I'll buy a Freschetta and crack it into about 4 pieces while it's frozen then throw it in bags back in the freezer. Sometimes I get a craving for a cheesy slice of pizza but know most of it will go to waste so I don't want a whole one. Throw a hunk of that pizza in the oven, 15 minutes later cut it in half and satisfy my craving with a couple of slices.

Why not pick up a fresh pizza and just re-heat it. You have an oven, right?

Or, if you and kids don't mind a little effort, buy pre-made pizza dough (i know Whole Foods [Whole Paycheck] sells them) and make your own pizza with all the toppings you want.

In a pinch though, frozen pizza isn't all that bad. I don't have a recommendation as to which though. Sorry.

Sam's Choice thin crust supreme at, believe it or not, Walmart, is actually quite tasty. They are just under $5 and my lovely wife and I get two meals out of one pizza. Give it a try.

Chicago's Home Run Inn pepperoni at WalMart.
Greasy, decadent, everything a pizza should be.
Their sausage is good but too much on there, go pepperoni.

We like DiGiorno’s thin-crust pepperoni. I’ll second good ol’ Totino’s pepperoni - I add some black pepper to mine (well, I do that and crushed red pepper to most pizza, anyway).

Toss on some black pepper, oregano, and some extra cheese, it is just fine.

I'm in this group.

I distinctly separate frozen foods from fresh. The harder a frozen food tries to mimic fresh the less impressed I am.

Frozen is frozen, and the frozen foods I prefer are the ones not trying to be something they aren't. In the case of pizza, the least expensive plain jane options are my preference.

We like Papa Murphy pizza as well. The beef taco and the cowboy are our 2 favorites. We can generally find a coupon for a discount.

Motor City Pizza from costco is also a favorite. We add a second layer of pepperoni and some additional cheese. These will feed Mrs. and I for 2 meals.

Ahh yes...the take n'bake variety, that's not a bad idea.
I always see the Papa Murphy's ads stuffed in my mail box, I should take advantage. Now I need to figure out what variety, good grief there's a lot...

That Motor City pizza that Costco has my parents commented about them awhile back, thought it was good since Costco isn't doing their combo pizza anymore. Yes, Costco food court pizza is better than the frozen variety from the freezer case.
