I think one of the essential tools that must be employed in the fight against fascism is education. One of the people I proudly call friend sat on the panel that answered congress's questions about the IRS suppression of groups with conservative sounding names in the summer of 2013, and the main thrust of his efforts is the education (on his own time & dime) of young people with respect to American History and Government. Folks must have an accurate idea of what it really is; otherwise all charges against it lose their power.

I think it's because the dems are now realizing that pantifa isn't polling too well and they have no choice but start distancing themselves...but pantifa being pantifa, I don't see them dropping out of the public limelight quietly -- one only hopes they don't.

Mayor of Berkeley Jesse Arreguin on Monday said it is time to confront the violent extremism on the left by treating black-clad Antifa protesters as a gang .

A large number of masked Antifa activists were seen jumping the barriers at a largely peaceful demonstration in Berkeley’s Martin Luther King Civic Center Park on Sunday.

Some began attacking Trump supporters at the rally.

“I think we should classify them as a gang,” said Arreguin. “They come dressed in uniforms. They have weapons, almost like a militia and I think we need to think about that in terms of our law enforcement approach.”

Arreguin said that while he does not support the far right, it was time to draw the line on the left as well, especially on the black-clad activists who showed up in force and took over both the protests and the park, and played a part in Sunday’s violent clashes.

From now on I shall refer to Antifa as Infanta.....assuming I remember to do so.

Most likely she brought a pet dog with the idea that the dog might bite a officer. That didn't work out so now it's a "service animal." Next up could be chest pains, hyperventilating, or an "asthma attack." Anything but a jail cell with Butch who's feeling frisky.

Pelosi no longer matters to the far-left crowd. She, along with Feinstein, Schumer and to a lesser extend Sanders and Warren represent the old Dem establishment that, in their eyes, wasn't aggressive enough in countering conservatives and need to be swept aside. Little do they realize that the more they keep going down this road of extremism, the more elections they'll continue to loose.

From the last video posted in the thread I see that the Anti-fa are very articulate and their arguments are well thought out and presented in a quiet and logical manner
