RFK Jr. Cancels $122M in LGBT and Diversity Grants.

https://thenationalpulse.com/2...nd-diversity-grants/

Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has eliminated nearly $122 million in federal funding tied to LGBT initiatives and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, marking a significant shift in agency priorities under the Trump administration. The cuts, which began in March 2025, targeted 195 projects that Kennedy and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) deemed overly focused on race, gender, and sexual orientation.

Among the programs cut was a $5.5 million grant to Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s “Vanderbilt FIRST” initiative, which aimed to recruit tenure-track faculty from so-called racially and ethnically minoritized groups, i.e., everyone but white people. Drexel University also lost $4.6 million in funding meant to support DEI hiring efforts in health disparities research. Other grants affected included $2.4 million for the University of Virginia, focused on so-called gender-diverse individuals, and $1.1 million for the University of Michigan, focused on Asian American and Latino populations.

The White House has backed Kennedy’s efforts, brushing aside criticism from activist groups and some academic institutions. Sources inside the administration say the move is part of a broader effort to remove ideological bias from publicly funded research.

The Trump administration has made similar moves elsewhere in recent months. In May, for instance, the Department of Justice (DOJ) redirected more than $800 million in DEI and transgender-related grants toward law enforcement and public safety programs.

Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to proceed with $783 million in National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant cuts tied to DEI-focused research. In a 5–4 decision, the Court cleared the way for the Trump administration to cancel the grants. Although the ruling included some limits on future federal DEI guidelines, it upheld the administration’s authority to redirect funds away from identity-based programs.

I would prefer a physician run the CDC not a failed politician.

Many, or most, physicians believe what Big Pharma pushed on them in med school. They are too indoctrinated to have an open mind.

RFK Jr, has a long history of mental health issues and addiction. Trump has a history of hiring and firing people. Implying that all physicians are whores for the pharmaceutical issues is untrue. Many physicians refuse to see the drug detail folks.

"Where is all the autoimmune diseases coming from? If it's not the vaccines, then where is it coming from? We have, in my generation, according to HHS, 12% of the people in my generation prior to 1986 had chronic diseases. Today, 54% did. Let's pretend all those hundreds and hundreds of studies aren't there that say it's the vaccines."

"Let's pretend that all the vaccines, every one of those diseases, the autoimmune diseases, Guillain-Barre, cerebral palsy, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, the neurodevelopmental diseases, ADD, ADHD, speech delay, language delay, tics, Tourette's syndrome, ASD, autism. The allergic diseases, peanut allergies, food allergies, eczema, asthma, anaphylaxis. Where can we find those listed? In two places."

"One in the list of chronic diseases that are now epidemic among American children and on the vaccine inserts. And why would the company put them on the vaccine insert? They put them there because the only way you can sue them under VICA is if they know or suspect of an injury that's being caused by their product and they fail to put it on the insert. So it's the one place where they're honest."

"For many years they've told us, well, just because we put it on the insert doesn't mean it's actually a vaccine adverse event. It's caused by the vaccine. But the Code of Federal Regulations says you cannot put it on an insert unless you believe that it's caused by the vaccine."

"So they're lying."

I suffered through ALL the childhood diseases except Pertussis. My kids skipped measles and mumps because they were vaccinated. Those two diseases resulted in deaths and serious complications for many. Again you should have the right to decline any vaccine.

I want to clarify a common misuse of the epithet "Anti-vaxxer" which I believe I have seen hinted at even on this forum, though it is widely used all over the media. It is conflated with being anti-science, which seems to be distressingly effective propaganda to polarize the public.

I don't know of anyone who denies that the immune system builds an immunity after being exposed to the antigen. I don't know anyone who disputes the scientific theory behind vaccination, which is that intentionally exposing a person to the antigen will cause or at least help create immunity.

The concerns that are ignored with the term anti-vaxxer are: 1) The very large number of doses given, especially to children, which stimulate the immune system many times more than a natural exposure or even a single vaccine dose. 2) The other stuff in the juice other than the antigen itself. Adjuvants, metals, undesirable cells, and other pollutants. 3) The lack of meaningful safety or efficacy proof considering the combinations of vaccines or the current formulations of vaccines.

Anti-vax has become the equivalent of calling someone a conspiracy theorist. We should challenge anyone who tries to smear us with the anti-vax epithet.

I'm watching the grandstanding self-righteous stupid-as-shit Democrats berating Robert Kennedy and he's handing them their asses, when they let him get a word in edgewise. They're calling him every name in the book.

It's not enough that they championed the ruination of the economy and the complete cessation of normal life in this country for years, and unnecessarily. No, they have to keep sucking the dick of Big Pharma and making a big show of it. Disgusting

I know exactly what these crooked fools but I'd better not say it.

I certainly don't agree with Jimmy Dore most things, but on such topics as Big Pharma, Big Medicine, COVID, etc, he's been relentlessly exposing lies and corruption for some time! Here's a short~ish video re: a memo/email leaked by a whistleblower, that speaks to that corruption in terms of an all out effort by Big Pharma to destroy RFK Jr, which is exactly what we're seeing unfolding in the Senate hearing today, as well as in the media.

I enjoyed hearing Secretary Kennedy stand up to Senator Warren's attempt to beat him down.

- - - - -

I do wish someone in that position would finally say to the Grandstander of the Moment, "I'll talk when you hush up. I won't talk over you, nor have you talk over me. Are you hear to ask question and get answers, or to preach?"

Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around.

Yammering, deaf fools. Hello? Roll Eyes

SEN. LUJAN (D): Will you commit to sharing protocols used for the autism study with Congress?

RFK: They're PUBLIC...

LUJAN: Will you commit to giving it to this committee by the end of the week?

RFK: No - that's not the way it WORKS. You don't even know what you're talking about.

LUJAN: You said it's public?

RFK: We already put out the notice of funding opportunities, then the scientists from all over the world-

LUJAN: You're not understanding me!

RFK: No, you're not understanding how the WORLD WORKS!

LUJAN: Do you understand the protocol?

RFK: The scientists doing the study submit the protocol, it's NOT coming from us! *chuckles*

LUJAN: So, will you commit to sharing with this committee?

RFK: *ANYBODY* can get the protocol, it's published with the study!

It’s really unfortunate they take advantage of his speech issue to cut him off, speak over him, and berate him.

Really wish he would have been able to lay into Maria Cuntwell had knock her down a few notches when she proclaimed WA state (ground zero for Covid) was leading the way for science and tech.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Hep B is common in Asia and Africa and most commmonly in the U.S. in immigrants from those countries.

Primary tranmission is via bodily fluids - sexual contact and IV drug use. Also health care workers from contaminated sharps.

Unless the mother is infected children are very unlikely to become infected.

I don't see any need for vaccination in the U.S. until onset of sexual activity.

CDC has been focused too narrowly on preventing illness at all costs without taking into account collateral damage. They did this during COVID - ignored the likely increased frequency of suicides, OD's, and deaths due to delayed detection or treatment of other illnesses, that would result from their recommended COVID policies.

This whole exchange shows it was for political grandstanding. I guess trying to get RFK to say "yes" to any question can be spun as a "gotcha" or a bend the knee moment for them.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
