His family is urging resignation. He has been there before. Here is the latest:
WASHINGTON (AP) — Members of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s family are calling for him to step down as health secretary following a contentious congressional hearing this past week, during which the Trump Cabinet official faced bipartisan questioning about his tumultuous leadership of federal health agencies.

Kennedy’s sister, Kerry Kennedy, and his nephew, Joseph P. Kennedy III, issued scathing statements Friday, calling for him to resign as head of the Health and Human Services Department.

The calls from the prominent Democratic family came a day after Kennedy had to defend his recent efforts to pull back COVID-19 vaccine recommendations and fire high-level officials at the Centers for Disease Control at a three-hour Senate hearing.

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a threat to the health and wellbeing of every American,” Joseph P. Kennedy III said in a post on X. The former congressman added: “None of us will be spared the pain he is inflicting.” His aunt echoed those claims, saying “medical decisions belong in the hands of trained and licensed professionals, not incompetent and misguided leadership.”

This is not the first time Kennedy has been the subject of his family’s ire. Several of his relatives had objected to his presidential run in the last campaign, while others wrote to senators earlier this year, calling for them to reject his nomination to be Trump’s health secretary due to views they considered disqualifying on life-saving vaccines.

Kennedy, a longtime leader in the anti-vaccine movement, has spent the last seven months implementing his once-niche, grassroots movement to the highest level of America’s public health system. The sweeping changes to the agencies tasked with public health policy and scientific research have resulted in thousands of layoffs and the remaking of vaccine guidelines.LINK:

The moves — some of which contradict assurances he made during his confirmation hearings — have rattled medical groups and officials in several Democratic-led states, which have responded with their own vaccine advice.

In years gone by, the Kennedy family used to close ranks. Not anymore it seems. LINk https://www.pbs.org/newshour/p...is-resignation-say-h

How about permitting those who want COVID vaccine get it without any hassle while not mandating anyone get the shot? Government gets way to deep into our lives.

Treat the vaccine having a drink of alcohol. To each their won way.

FDA Revokes Emergency Authorization for COVID-19 Vaccines

The vaccines are still cleared for a number of Americans under regulatory approval.

Federal regulators have revoked emergency authorization for COVID-19 vaccines, according to documents made public on Aug. 27.

The Food and Drug Administration withdrew the emergency authorizations for vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Novavax.

Dr. Vinay Prasad, the FDA’s top vaccine official, said in memorandums that the withdrawals were happening in part due to the FDA recently extending approval for Moderna’s vaccine to individuals as young as six months of age who were targeted by the emergency authorizations.

The FDA first issued emergency authorizations for COVID-19 vaccines in late 2020, on the basis of COVID-19 constituting an emergency and there being no available approved products to prevent the illness.

“The emergency use authorizations for COVID vaccines, once used to justify broad mandates on the general public during the Biden administration, are now rescinded,” Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the head of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), said on X on Aug. 27.

At the same time, the FDA, which is part of HHS, approved the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for older adults as well as children as young as 5 years of age who have at least one condition that officials say puts them at higher risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes.

Pfizer noted the development in a brief statement. Pfizer, Moderna, and Novavax said their shots would be available soon.
Regulators previously issued similar approvals for two COVID-19 vaccines from Moderna and one COVID-19 vaccine from Novavax.
“We are proud to help ensure Americans will have the latest protection against currently circulating strains this respiratory virus season,” Stephane Bancel, Moderna’s CEO, said in a statement.

Those approvals diverged from previous approvals, which had not limited access to any populations save for infants less than 6 months old.

Combined, the actions mean that FDA clearance is no longer in place for an estimated 240 million Americans, although doctors could still provide the vaccines off-label to those people.

Insurers may not cover vaccines administered off-label, according to health groups. “We are committed to ongoing coverage of vaccines to ensure access and affordability for this respiratory virus season,” AHIP, an insurer trade association, said in a previous statement.

Kennedy stated that “These vaccines are available for all patients who choose them after consulting with their doctors.”

Per federal law, the FDA approves products it determines are “safe, pure, and potent.” Emergency authorizations, in contrast, can be offered only under certain circumstances, such as during a public health emergency, and are for products that officials believe “may be effective” in treating or preventing a life-threatening disease or condition.

Updated Approvals

Dr. Marty Makary, the FDA’s commissioner, and Prasad, its top vaccine official at the time, signaled the change in May, when they said that the FDA would stop approving COVID-19 vaccines for many Americans absent clinical trial data.

“The FDA can only approve products if it concludes, based on scientific evidence, that the benefit-to-harm balance is favorable. And we simply need more data to have that confidence for younger individuals at low-risk of severe disease,” Prasad said at the time.

In the United States, regulators in recent years have been authorizing updated COVID-19 vaccines annually in a bid to counter waning effectiveness and better match circulating variants. The model is based on the historical approach to influenza vaccines.

Regulators in 2024 cleared updated shots from Moderna, Pfizer, and Novavax without human data, citing animal tests and data from trials for previous versions.

Most Americans have not taken one of those COVID-19 vaccines. Just 13 percent of children and 23 percent of adults had received one of them as of April 26, according to the latest statistics available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Makary and Prasad also said they would continue approving updated versions of the COVID-19 vaccines for all individuals 65 and older, as well as younger people with one or more of the risk factors that increase the likelihood of severe COVID-19 outcomes. These approvals would be based solely on immunobridging data, or testing that shows that vaccines trigger an antibody response against the disease.

Around that time, the FDA approved Novavax’s vaccine, previously under emergency use authorization, for people 65 and older, and for individuals ages 12 to 64 with at least one risk factor. More recently, the agency approved a new Moderna vaccine for the same populations, and Moderna’s existing vaccine for the elderly and for individuals aged 6 months to 64 years who have at least one risk factor.

The new approval of Pfizer’s vaccine is for the elderly and people aged 5 to 64 who have one or more risk factors, Pfizer said.

That means Moderna’s vaccine is the only one available for infants and toddlers, as had been expected.

While Moderna and Novavax did not protest the move, Pfizer conveyed concerns, including how there will be only one vaccine, from Moderna, available for children aged 4 and younger, according to the FDA.

Prasad said in one of the memos that “Pfizer has not identified any evidence showing that the manufacturer of the currently-approved COVID-19 vaccine for this age group is unable to supply the relevant population.”

Change in Recommendations

The revocations come several months after the CDC changed its COVID-19 recommendations.

The agency had for years advised all individuals aged 6 months and older to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

The updated schedules no longer recommend COVID-19 vaccination for healthy children and pregnant women.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently recommended that all children aged 6 months to 23 months receive a COVID-19 vaccine, while the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists advised all pregnant women to get one.

Regulators cited the public health emergency over COVID-19 in their most recent emergency authorizations for the COVID-19 vaccines in 2024. Then-Health Secretary Xavier Becerra on Jan. 1 extended the COVID-19 health emergency to Dec. 31, 2029.

Kennedy said on Wednesday that he promised to end COVID-19 vaccine mandates, to keep vaccines available to people who want them, to require placebo-controlled trials, and to “end the emergency.” The FDA actions “accomplished all four goals,” he said.

This is good news, and what should have been done during the COVID pandemic: do a benefit to risk assessment and focus vaccines and other therapies on those at highest risk of death or severe illness.
Marty Makary and Jay Bhattacharya are doing bang-up jobs at FDA and NIH. RFKJ needs to find an equivalent strong, respected doctor for CDC. They were the worst during COVID.

Trump Announces Crackdown On Drug Ads On TV, Potentially Disrupting Billions In Ad Spending

Earlier this week, following both the kangaroo court that was RFK Jr. congressional hearing and the news that the Trump admin may crack down on Tylenol (of all things), we wondered if there really wasn't something more serious for MAHA to be focusing on... like making an actual impact and banning pharma ads on TV. After all, it's just the US and New Zealand that still allow pharma ads to fund what are largely extremely liberal cable TV stations: why not help US health at the grass roots level by pulling back on the US addiction with, well, drug addiction. And if the Trump admin can put much of the liberal mainstream media out of business for selling snake oil - in some cases literally - even better.

And while we didn't expect our lament to generate any traction, we were very surprised to learn that late on Tuesday, the Trump admin announced a crackdown on pharmaceutical advertising on television and social media platforms, potentially disrupting billions of dollars in annual ad spending.

President Trump signed a presidential memorandum on Tuesday that calls on federal health agencies to require pharmaceutical companies to disclose more side effects in their ads and enforce existing rules about misleading ads. The administration is pitching the moves as a way to increase transparency for patients, and while it is not an outright ban as many had hoped for, it is a start, and it will certainly had an adverse effect as drug makers scramble to avoid penalties and sanctions.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Autism and Vaccine Scientist Arrested for Allegedly Stealing $1 Million from CDC

https://www.breitbart.com/heal...rrested-germany-cdc/

A Danish researcher central to the debate over vaccines and autism — and sought for a decade by U.S. authorities — has been arrested in Germany and faces extradition to the U.S. to be tried on charges of stealing a million dollars in research money, Breitbart News has learned.

Poul Thorsen, 64, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2011 on 22 counts of wire fraud and money laundering, but has escaped prosecution in the U.S. because Denmark has chosen not to extradite him, according to previous reports.

The arrest is especially significant to the MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) movement because Thorsen, who is also a physician, is one of the authors of a 2003 study considered the “gold standard” in determining there is no link between autism and vaccines containing a preservative called thimerosal.

Safe vaccine advocates have alleged that the study was deceptive and fatally flawed.

“Thorsen has been number one on the Health and Human Services (HHS) most wanted list for the past ten years,” HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview. “I’m grateful to Pam Bondi for working with my agency to make sure he’ll finally be brought to justice.”

German authorities arrested Thorsen with an INTERPOL “red notice” in June, a senior Department of Justice (DOJ) official confirmed exclusively to Breitbart News. The official said the DOJ is working with the German government to bring him to the U.S. for trial.

“I don’t know when we can get him back,” the official said, “because we’re dealing with a foreign government and that’s always slow. But we have a great relationship with Germany.”

Thorsen’s wanted bulletin is on the HHS Inspector General’s page.

It states:

From approximately February 2004 until February 2010, Poul Thorsen executed a scheme to steal grant money awarded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). CDC had awarded grant money to Denmark for research involving infant disabilities, autism, genetic disorders, and fetal alcohol syndrome. CDC awarded the grant to fund studies of the relationship between autism and the exposure to vaccines, the relationship between cerebral palsy and infection during pregnancy, and the relationship between developmental outcomes and fetal alcohol exposure.

Thorsen allegedly diverted over $1 million of the CDC grant money to his own personal bank account. Thorsen submitted fraudulent invoices on CDC letterhead to medical facilities assisting in the research for reimbursement of work allegedly covered by the grants.

Those skeptical of certain vaccines — including Kennedy before he joined the Trump administration — have criticized the Denmark study, which had six other authors, for a variety of research errors and changes in protocol that they say guaranteed no link would be found between autism and the mercury-containing preservative.

Secretary Kennedy said the study is widely cited by health officials who argue there is no link to autism from vaccines containing the preservative. That finding was adopted in 2004 by the influential National Academy of Medicine, he said.

It also resulted in the dismissal of some 5,000 injury cases in the federal court designated to handle vaccine injury petitions, Kennedy said.

A book by investigative reporter James Ottar Grundvig titled Master Manipulator: The Explosive True Story of Fraud, Embezzlement, and Government Betrayal at the CDC takes a deep dive into Thorsen’s role in the study.

Former CBS investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson wrote in the forward:

“The fact that the CDC would contract with the likes of Dr. Thorsen on crucial research of vaccines and autism, and never consider setting aside his findings after his twenty-two-count criminal indictment, speaks to the waning credibility of the world’s premiere health agency.”

As an environmental attorney, Kennedy wrote the introduction to the book and alleged Thorsen changed reporting protocols that deceptively showed autism numbers in Denmark were increasing, even after the preservative was removed.

Kennedy also wrote that the final year of the study contracted by the CDC was supposed to be 2001. But when it showed a decline in autism with thimerosal removed, Kennedy wrote — and reiterated in the Breitbart interview — they simply deleted that year from the final study.

An article in Forbes in 2015 argued that Thorsen was not even on an INTERPOL wanted list — now refuted by the DOJ — and portrayed the researcher as an easy “villain” for “conspiracy theorists.”

When Kennedy was asked if going after Thorsen with criminal charges would be seen as the secretary creating an enemy list for his past vaccine advocacy work, he had a short answer.

“He’s been wanted by the HHS long before I got here,” he said.

Same here. They gave us an option of getting a Covid test, EVERY DAY, as an alternative. And if you go that route, it’s on your dime etc. So essentially it was as you stated, get it or get fired. You have a career type job, you know a job type job, a commute, bills and shit. Nobody has time to get up early every weekday of the year and get a specialized q-tip jammed up your nostrils. They don’t have places that do it on every street corner like Starfucks either so it means driving all over town or many miles on the highway. I’ve done it. About 15 miles from the house, and in the morning at rush hour, that would mean the commute is 2+ hours to get it done and get to work. I mean at that point, you should just drive over to that clinic at bedtime, sleep in your got damn vehicle. Crazy shit.

I support Kennedy 150%. He has been a massive advocate for stem cells and wanting them to advance. He has used them personally and I’ve used them on multiple occasions and they prevented 3 different surgeries. Each of those surgeries would have been life altering for me. And the surgeries would have cost me tens of thousands of dollars. So I won on health, my future, and my wallet, which is exactly why our medical establishment doesn’t want them in the USA. Too many fuckers would lose millions and billions of dollars.

Kennedy is taking on the establishment and I’m all for it. Those hearings, the highlights I watched, he was straight up attacked and abused. Textbook abuse. Fuck em all. Stem cells alone, would revolutionize medicine in this country, especially the IV versions. Many people could get healed and skip the drugs, and the surgeries, etc. That’s why they are putting up so much of a fight with him. Billions of dollars annually the establishment would lose if alternative medicine was allowed. Fuck em, let justice be done though thy heavens fall.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone
