It’s Science.

Nope. Not buying it.

BUT, let's just pretend for a moment we can "reverse" the trend. The first three words of the solution better be "China and India".

nope

too much real data and observable common sense points to just the opposite

also, the climate change 'scientists' are their own worst enemy and the email leaks from East Anglia pretty much put the final nail in the hoax known as climate change

Short version:

Climate is changing. No kidding. It has for a bajillion years and will continue to do so. Rather we like it or not.

Humans are causing it. Pffft. The mental leap required to make that jump requires a level of hubris only liberals can muster.

So no, not buying it. (Which ironically is why they're pedaling it. Hard to sell 'carbon credits' and other bullshit without 'proof'.)

The huge floating plastic masses in the Pacific are from China and the Far East. That is their landfill.

This is not caused by the United States.

Remember Science class? CO2 is what trees & plants NEED to survive. They take in CO2 and give off oxygen.

Logically more CO2 would mean a greener environment. Kind of like the Renaissance perhaps?

Then again London 100+ years ago - skies black with coal and peat pollution. They seem to have survived and (Horror!) healed.

East coast of the US during WW2 - oil tankers sinking from the German submarines. Lots of Crude oil floating in on the surf. Shore patrols shot at chunks of crude thinking they were spies crawling ashore. While I don’t have numbers, there was a significant number of these ships sunk all up and down the east coast. Thousands of gallons, tens of thousands of gallons washed ashore.

Any evidence of that oil today? Who cleaned it up? Maybe Mother Earth taking care of herself.

Here in North Carolina we have been experiencing climate change for quite a while. It is hot in the summer and changes to cold in the winter.

Show us your data.

I’d be shocked if growing human activity doesn’t have some (probably barely measurable, if measurable at all) impact. However, I’d be much more shocked if whatever impact we humans have adds up to a pimple on an elephant’s rump compared to changes due to astrophysics.

I mean let’s face it the earth has been heating and cooling since long before our ancestors crawled out of the swamp.

You are absolutely correct. Our share of the mess is almost non-existent. My only point is that it's a huge problem.

Let's see. The people perpetrating this myth have a solution and it involves enormous taxes and fees levied. The pushers are multimillionaires, like Algore who got rich off this crap, living in large mansions who travel by private jet to meetings to talk about what can be done. Roll Eyes

The climate is always changing as is the earth, the solar system, and the sun. The sun looks to be entering a time with extended lack of sunspots indicating lower solar activity. People whose charts and graphs that support their man made global climate change emergency can never backup their supposed data.

Fact is the climate is changing and will continue to. If man is still around when the earth enters the next full blown ice age where glaciers start covering most of North America again, it will be interesting times for sure.

No, I do not believe in the cult of climate change.

If I did believe in it and it was real, I wouldn't have to make up a fake hockey stick graph.

If I did believe in it and it was real, and my hockey stick graph was real - I would share that data and my methods with the world to show everyone it is real.

And finally, if I did believe in it and it was real and all the glaciers were going to melt and the seas rise in the next 12 years, do you really think I would have just spent 15 million dollars on a mansion on Martha's Vineyard, pretty much right at sea level?

But if I wanted to get others to believe it, I would elicit the help of Hollywood, the media and academia. They all fancy themselves a creative lot, but they really aren't that bright. They would be easy to dupe. I would hand them a script to read and let them blabber on for decades as I lined my pockets.

Some things are definitely changing.

Humans have an impact on the atmosphere.

How big is that impact? What effects does that impact have? No one knows.

Should we do our best to reduce all kinds of pollution to keep the planet as clean as possible? Of course.

The SJW-led cult of embracing socialism as a cure for climate change is bullshit and I reject it with every fiber of my being.

CO2 is not a pollutant--it is a necessary part of our air. Green plants absorb it and make food and oxygen.
