This is absolutely hilarious and probably worthy of a separate thread, but this one is as good as any. Hillary seriously thinks that she lost because of secret 'flashing' videos on the dark web that people saw and then disappeared. This is not from The Onion, it's from an actual interview with her. I get that not everyone knows what the dark web is, but this is just batshit insanity. Oh yeah, she also says Jill Stein is totally a Russian asset as well as Tulsi in this interview. https://freebeacon.com/politic...ssian-asset-gabbard/ “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” - John Adams

I thinking losing to Donald Trump has made Hillary lose her sanity, doesn't she have any handlers that can tell her how insane she's coming across these days? Or maybe they are afraid to and this is a case of the Emperor with no clothes here?

It's the same interview this thread is about. In fact, the part you reference comes just before the part that sparked this thread: Hillary Clinton: Trump ‘Grooming’ Russian ‘Favorite’ Gabbard President Donald Trump's reelection campaign is preparing Russian "favorite" Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D., Hawaii) to run as a third-party candidate, Hillary Clinton said in an interview with the "Campaign HQ" podcast. "I'm not making any predictions but I think they've got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate," Clinton told podcast host David Plouffe. "She's the favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far." Clinton argued the Trump campaign will turn to Gabbard if 2016 Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, whom Clinton also associated with Russia, does not run. "That's assuming Jill Stein will give it up which she might not, because she's also a Russian asset," Clinton said. "She's a Russian asset, I mean totally." Plouffe had asked Clinton what she thought the Trump campaign's strategy may be. She said its strategy would consist of two parts: dark-web videos and the propping up of a third-party candidate. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

On the one hand I'm amazed Alphabet/Google would be so bold, but, OTHO, I'm not particularly surprised. Leftists simply cannot comprehend that their opponents aren't total idiots. PayPal gets a bad rap in the firearms community, and rightfully so, but I think what Alphabet/Google is doing, as well as the other social media companies, is far, far more egregious. I'm down to just a gmail email address and retain the account only because of a couple little-used Android TV devices. Eventually I plan to sell those off of give 'em away, at which point I'll delete my Goggle account entirely. I only wish I could resell the apps I bought on Google Play for the Android phones I no longer use--and plan to never again use. And now, for those who apparently missed it the first time around:

I've tried to listen to the whole podcast w Clinton, but she is so ridiculous throughout the interview that it is like listening to "batshit crazy" stuff. Perhaps the 2016 election loss did indeed push her into a mental state completely divorced from reality. She has lied so much for so long that she may now be living in her own private "reality" hour long podcast: https://podcasts.google.com/?f...p=6&at=1571406131757

If the Russkies really wanted to mess with the next election, they'd be working on getting Michelle Obama to jump into the race. She's the only person who has a chance at beating Trump, and the move would also throw the Dem primary into total chaos. How could the Russkies not want to do just that?

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard will not run for re-election, all in on White House bid https://www.washingtonexaminer...n-on-white-house-bid Tulsi Gabbard said she will not seek re-election for her House seat and is fully committed to her presidential bid. "As president, I will immediately begin to work to end this new cold war and nuclear arms race, and our interventionist foreign policy of carrying out wasteful regime change wars, and instead redirect our precious resources toward serving the needs of the people right here at home," Gabbard said in a video posted early Friday morning. "As such, I will not be seeking re-election to Congress in 2020, and I humbly ask you for your support for my candidacy for President of the United States." Had she run for re-election, Gabbard faced a primary challenge from Democratic state Sen. Kai Kahele, who secured endorsements from three former Hawaii governors and has criticized Gabbard for focusing too much on her presidential bid rather than her House duties. Hawaii state law appears to allow a candidate to run for Congress and president simultaneously. Gabbard, 38, was elected to Congress in 2012 and is in her fourth term. Before running for Congress, Gabbard held public office as a Hawaii state representative from 2002 to 2004 and a Honolulu city councilwoman from 2011 to 2012. Gabbard's announcement comes a week after Hillary Clinton criticized her candidacy and theorized that she is a "Russian asset" being groomed for a third-party run. Gabbard responded by calling Clinton the "queen of warmongers" and "embodiment of corruption." The Hawaii congresswoman restated last week that she would not run for president as an independent or third-party candidate and will support the Democratic presidential nominee. She has also said she plans to stay in the Democratic presidential race through the Democratic National Convention in July. Gabbard has initiated fiery attacks on her primary competitors and major media outlets during Democratic presidential debates, but she has yet to qualify for the November round and lags far behind top-candidates in polls and fundraising. A Quinnipiac poll released Thursday found Gabbard with 1% support nationally among likely Democratic primary voters and she raised $3 million in the third quarter of 2019. A veteran who is still major in the Hawaii Army National Guard, Gabbard has made anti-intervention foreign policy the cornerstone of her campaign. She deployed to Iraq in 2004 and served as a specialist with a medical company at Camp Anaconda. In 2008 and 2009, Gabbard deployed to Kuwait as an Army military police officer. "Bringing the experience I have both as a soldier serving for ever 16 years in the Army National Guard, deploying twice to the Middle East, and serving in Congress for nearly seven years on the Foreign Affairs, Armed Services and Homeland Security committees, I am prepared to walk into the Oval Office on Day One to do that job," Gabbard said in the video. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." GOP Seizes on Gabbard Ripping Dems’ Closed-Door Impeachment Probe: Bipartisan ‘Rebuke of Kangaroo Court’ https://www.breitbart.com/poli...buke-kangaroo-court/ Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), a 2020 White House hopeful, this week lambasted the closed-door proceedings of her own party’s impeachment inquiry, echoing the frustration of Republicans. House Democrats have dismissed Republican demands that they release the “all” the transcripts of the testimony provided by impeachment investigation witnesses and open the proceedings to the public. During an interview on Fox News Thursday, Gabbard questioned the argument by her fellow Democrats that the impeachment probe witnesses must testify in private to prevent them from sharing information. “That inquiry needs to be done in a very narrowly focused way, and it must be done transparently. I don’t know what’s going on in those closed doors,” Gabbard declared. “I think that the American people deserve to know exactly what the facts are, what the evidence is that’s being presented as this inquiry goes on.” Noting via Twitter that “the rebuke of [House Intelligence Committee Chairman] Adam Schiff’s [D-CA] Kangaroo Court is bipartisan,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) cited a clip of the Gabbard’s interview. Gabbard also blasted the Democrats’ secret impeachment proceedings at the Fortune Most Powerful Women dinner at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC, on Tuesday night, saying the lack of transparency could hurt the “integrity” of the process. “Pursuing impeachment for partisan reasons is bad for our country,” she proclaimed. “It will be extremely divisive for an already divided country. I looked at the complaint and was very concerned. We need to get to the bottom of it.” “There needs to be a transparent and narrowly focused inquiry — I am disappointed with the lack of transparency,” she added. “They have been behind closed doors.” “That has the potential to undermine the integrity of a nonpartisan investigation,” the Hawaii Democrat also said. After opposing the idea, Gabbard expressed support for the impeachment inquiry during the last Democrat presidential debate in mid-October but cautioned against a “hyper-partisan” process. “Up to this point, I have been opposed to pursuing impeachment because it will further divide our already badly divided country,” the congresswoman said in a September 27 statement, soon after House Democrats launched the probe. Gabbard’s criticism this week of the secret impeachment process came amid a feud with Hillary Clinton, a 2016 presidential candidate who recently accused her of being a Russian asset without providing any evidence. Although he acknowledged that the analogy is “imperfect,” Schiff has likened the impeachment inquiry to private grand-jury proceedings. “It is a political process and there are good reasons that part of that process should be conducted in the public eye, but I will tell you no two impeachments are alike,” he conceded on October 14. Schiff has vowed to release the transcripts of the witnesses’ testimony and open the process to the public. The leader of the impeachment probe did not say when he will allow the public access to the impeachment probe proceedings. The Washington Post, however, reported on Wednesday, “House Democrats are preparing to move their largely private impeachment inquiry onto a more public stage as soon as mid-November and are already grappling with how best to present the complex Ukraine saga to the American people.” Republican members of the three House panels conducting the impeachment probe are allowed to participate in questioning the witnesses. Still, they are not allowed to bring their own or issue subpoenas. House Democrats have also excluded Trump’s lawyers from the hearings, denying them the right to access evidence and examine witnesses. The White House is refusing to cooperate with the probe, arguing that it is “illegitimate” and unfair.
