Someone pointed recently out that Biden now has the incontrollable head shake that is associated with dementia, they are going to have to start hiding this guy away from the public and not let him speak off the cuff anymore lest he start a war.

Left-Handed, NOT Left-Winged! |
Threatening military intervention against a nuclear power in land squabble is not a good idea. Taiwan is not a sovereign country. It has never declared independence from China. After the communists won the Chinese Civil War, the leaders of the Republic of China fled to Taiwan and declared themselves the legitimate government of China. Nothing has changed in 75 or so years. The U.S. has promised aid to Taiwan if they are attacked, but not if they provoke China. Declaring independence would be a provocation so it's been a diplomatic stalemate for decades. No matter what happens to Taiwan, we are not going to go to war with China. Period. Putting a carrier battle group off the coast of Taiwan in international waters would be the typical show of force, unless China sinks the carrier with their supposed hypersonic missiles. And that would be an act of war, requiring a response. Best not fuck around. Biden is a moron and he's trying to sound tough, so that China doesn't invade Taiwan, and having two wars on his watch. Trump says he told Putin - invade Ukraine and I hit Moscow - probably with a grin and a "don't try me" look. But Biden told the press, not Xi directly.

This practice of using our STRATEGIC reserves for political purposes HAS TO END. White House Mulls Tapping Emergency Diesel Stockpile To Address East Coast Crisis
My FIL has been friends for years with a guy who owns his own 18 wheeler and has been in the trucking industry for going 40 years now, we just found out that he said things are getting bad, the high price of diesel and less and less to haul are ominous signs of things to come.

Biden is a fuck up and his mumbling responses don't reflect U.S. policy. The Chinese can safely ignore the guy, but what an incredibly dangerous thing for the old fool to be saying. This guys mental decline really may become dangerous.

Oh, FFS. Since we've got assets and something of a policy already in place, let's wait until there's a problem - so that we actually know what the problem is - before tying ourselves in knots trying to figure out how to get out of the problem. There's a reason for our 'strategic ambiguity', and that strategic ambiguity is still in place. Meanwhile, the Red Chinese have a laundry list of major problems at home to solve and their statistical models on what the US would do if they invaded Taiwan are changing every week, if not every hour or every day.

If the policy is one of strategic ambiguity then Biden and crew are the masters of it. Perhaps his administration plans on making all foreign policy operate on the same principal? Calgary Shooting Centre

Germany is screwed: German industry is reportedly preparing to institute gas rationing in Europe’s largest economy as Vladimir Putin’s Russia cut off shipments to Finland, which has launched an application to join the NATO military alliance.

Staring back from the abyss |
Kind of like Trump threatening fire and fury the likes of which the world has never seen against North Korea? I'm of a mind that, as much as I despise Biden, this wasn't a bad thing to say. Yeah, ambiguity has it's place, but so does saying, "Don't fuck with me." After their two colossal foreign policy fails (Afghanistan and Ukraine), Xi might just be thinking, "Fuck it, why not?". Personally, I don't think it was bad to say "Don't even think about it". ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." The minute Russia crossed into Ukraine, Germany knew the worst possible scenario regarding their economy, and 'green energy policies' were to become a reality. The cart-before-the-horse enthusiasm from the alternative energy jihadists have now been checked with reality...and the German people who enthusiastically supported this in all their political leaders, are going to feel the pain.

IMO Biden just F-d up again big time. Nobody takes that incontinent moron seriously on any topic. Biden burned his bridge to Saudi Arabia during the debates and now they won't even take his phone calls. Read the article and then watch the videos for a history lesson. Saudi Arabia Signals Backing for Russia in OPEC+ https://www.theepochtimes.com/...in-opec_4483815.html Saudi Arabia has signaled its support for Russia as a continued member of the OPEC+ oil cartel, which comes amid ongoing Western pressure to sanction and isolate Moscow over the Ukraine invasion. Saudi energy minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman told the Financial Times in an interview published on May 22 that he sees Russia as an integral part of the OPEC+ group of oil producers, adding that politics should be kept out of the alliance. He said Saudi Arabia hopes “to work an agreement with OPEC+ … which includes Russia,” referring to a new crude production deal. Oil pumping quotas under the current OPEC+ agreement struck in 2020 are set to expire in several months. While the United States banned oil imports from Russia in March, member states of the European Union remain divided on phasing out Russian crude imports. OPEC and its allies are unwinding record output cuts put in place during the worst of the pandemic in 2020, although they have rebuffed Western pressure to raise output at a faster pace as energy consumers grapple with the highest oil prices in years. Oil prices surged above $130 per barrel in March over concerns of disrupted supplies from Russia, although they have since eased. Brent crude futures rose by 22 cents to $112.77 a barrel by midafternoon on May 23, while the U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude fell 49 cents to $109.79. High crude prices have translated into pain at the pump for drivers. The average price of regular-grade gasoline in the United States spiked 33 cents over the past two weeks to $4.71 per gallon, according to the Lundberg Survey, while JPMorgan analysts expect prices to climb above $6 a gallon by the end of the summer. In his interview with the Financial Times, Prince Abdulaziz blamed soaring gasoline prices on taxes and a lack of global refining capacity. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) stated that the Russia–Ukraine conflict has injected greater volatility into oil markets. “Sanctions on Russia and other independent corporate actions contributed to falling oil production in Russia and continue to create significant market uncertainties about the potential for further oil supply disruptions,” EIA stated in the outlook, noting that Russia sanctions came against a backdrop of persistent upward oil price pressures and low oil inventories. Global oil inventory levels in April in developed countries stood at 2.63 billion barrels, up marginally from February, when they fell to their lowest level since April 2014, EIA stated. “Because oil inventories are currently low, we expect downward oil price pressures will be limited and market conditions will exist for significant price volatility.” The agency predicts Brent will average $103 per barrel in the second half of 2022, before falling to $97 per barrel in 2023. In its most recent monthly report, OPEC cut its forecast for growth in world oil demand in 2022, citing the impact of the Ukraine war, surging inflation, and pandemic curbs in China. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." That's right, OPEC+ will work with Russia to set new quotas. Didn't mention they'd be working with the US on those numbers, did they. What ya think the result of that work will be for the US? Just more collateral damage from consistently retarded foreign policy decisions and a continuing stream of vomited, moronic commentary by the retard in our White House and his cabal of un-American, grifting, garbage. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom.
