This was east of Los Angeles.

"The primary suspect, a 23-year-old male, remains hospitalized in critical, but stable condition, and his identity has not been released at this time."

Serves those bastards right for parking in the handicap spot!

Great presence of mind by the store owner to beat the punk to the punch.

A follow-up shot would have been nice

From badass thug to screaming like a little girl in about three seconds. Street cred: revoked.

This video just came up in my feed. The guy with the AR looks like he’s had some training. Very good modern stance and properly using the foregrip in a c-clamp.

…Then he ran like a bitch without firing a shot and is apparently in critical condition, according to additional reports.

Guess it shows that mindset is as important as training. The shop owner looking at the surveillance feeds and knowing what was going down and that there were more outside clearly didn’t hurt.

I'm disappointed to see no blood spatter and no blood trail.

It's all good. As long as the perp is disarmed.

The video with locals' comments is great. Norco is a horse town, so I'd expect them to cheer for the good guy.
Part of the video shows that store owner was watching outside video cameras, when a guy pulled a mask down he reached for his weapon (looked like a pump shotgun?).

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
