Yea I’m bi also but I’m leaning more towards pistols. The rifles after a while were not as much of a challenge. I still love it all though!!!!

Pistols. I have a safe full of long guns I shoot rarely, and a safe full of handguns I shoot every now and then, and a small collection of handguns I shoot once a week.

I'm late to the party - I'm a rifle guy. I enjoy both but I love me some rifles.

Shotgun. It was the do-all weapon of my youth. Then pistol, then rifle, then sub gun. Probably better with sub gun than rifle currently, thanks to the helpfulness of NFA friends, but, don’t currently own one.

For recreational shooting, shotguns (sporting clays; I like the exercise and socializing), pistols (USPSA club matches), rifles. Part of the reason for this order is my poor eyesight. I can see and enjoy the kablammo-ing of clay pigeons on the spot.
The scoring of the USPSA targets is done right after the course of fire, a slightly delayed feedback.
But the itsa teeny tiny yellow polka dot bikini holes of the .223 are a mystery until walking the 100~200 yards down range.

Depends on the time of the year. Rifles when the weather is nice, pistols when it isn't.

I like both, but I have more experience with pistols mainly because my range is only out to 25 yards. I would have to go to BLM for long range.

I recently bought a Ruger 10/22, so I will be using that more often since its cheaper to feed.

Sadly I'm in Canada and pistols are too restricted.
As in, you gotta store them super strictly, only shoot them at the range, limited to 10 rounds, register them...

Most rifles you can just shoot them in the woods, no registry, and I've come to love rifles and shotguns for the freedom afforded.
Ironically the government thinks a 9mm pistol is unsafe to shoot in the woods but a 30-06 isn't.....

I don't make the laws *shrug*

Rifles any day of the week. Twice on Sundays.

The joy I feel launching 500 grains of lead hundreds of yards out and hitting what I'm aiming at cannot be matched by any pistol.

I stand corrected!

I love to shoot ersatzknarf's custom AR9 indoors.

It runs like a little sewing machine, allowing you to stitch up targets in any array that fits your fancy. Big Grin

I was, for the majority of my "gun hobby" almost exclusively a pistol guy. But currently, I have more rifles than pistols. I'd definitely put myself in the "both" category.
