Thanks for the leads. The three places near me that stock Carhartt apparel don't have anything in my size (XL).

There are two more stores in Bangor (60+ miles) that carry Carhartt (Dicks and Lowes) that I'll check out.

Turns out I was wrong about the coat coming from China, it's actually Pakistan. They kindly offered to refund 20% of the original $129, or I can send it back to Pakistan on my dime for a full refund. Pretty sure the cost of mailing it to Shitholistan would be more than the value of the coat. I'll check, but probably just eat it and take my 20%.

There seems to be a lot of pre-owned ones on eBay. That may be the simplest way to go. Determine the ones in best condition, and buy two or three of them.

I can’t believe that they discontinued the C26. I’ve had several in the last 30+ years. I’ll have to keep an eye out for another one.

That's the only reason I took a chance (and lost...) I LOVE my C26 and I've worn out a half dozen of them in the last 30 or 35 years.

As mentioned elsewhere, I still want a Carhartt but will have to put up with a different model. My biggest issue is that most of them have integral hoods and I find hoods to be a pain in the ass if you're doing anything but just standing around.

As it was mentioned, do a search on EBay for a lightly used one.

As I thought, return to Shitholistan would run between $60 and $100 depending on exact location and weight of the package.

I sucked it up and went for the 20%.

Also, found what appears to be a nice used one on EBay for $50-ish with shipping. We shall see.

I ordered a used one from Ebay. Received today, I'm VERY pleased with the transaction. Basically new, just nicely broken in. Very reasonably priced at around $70 shipped. Thanks for the tip/reminder!

I would deny the charge with my credit card company, not take 20% and eat the rest.
